well, i just went out of town. will be out for a week. told my mom to keep the water changes going for the rock. they are almost cured!!! tank needs some water agitation going on the top, since i cant turn on my power head until i add the rock, since it will move the sand around. will get pics once i return from out of town!

well, i actually just got in town like 30 minutes ago. went to check the DT, and everything seems fine, and the little nano has had a huge diatom bloom! i was pretty exited to check the param. since i thought the cycle was over, but this is what i got...
ammonia- 0
nitrate- 5-10
nitrite- .25
ph- didnt test as i havent setup the other powerhead for more surface aggitation...
well, since its pretty dark out, i cant really make if the rocks have cured yet or not, will check in the morning. if they have, i will most likley just put them in so they can get some diatoms on them, making them look a little more real. we'll have to see.

well, i went and checked the rock, and they have fully cured!
so probably in one or two hours, i will get them from outside and start the aquascaping. i will get some pics when im done.

and also, i removed they hydor flow deflector as it was pushing around all the sand everywhere.

thanks the both of you. i will be going to the LFS in a minute to buy a clown trigger and some sps. i might also come home with a yellow tang if they have any. thanks again for the compliments.

ok, so im thinking about the stock list now. i know i want to keep my pair of false percs. in there. but im wondering if i can keep a yellow clown goby with the clowns. any answers are appreciated.

Thats all I have in my 28g, and they were in my 15g together. 2 false percs and my yellow-watchman. They get along great. I may add a baby blue hippo tang until it gets about mid size, then toss it in my buddys 210.

ok, thanks. well, i went to my lfs just a minute ago, and they had some yellow clown gobys for sale, 12.99 each. man, if only i had tested the water. i didnt know my parameters, so i didnt get one. :( oh well, next time..

ok, tested my water
pH= 8.4
Ammonia= .25
Nitrates= 5-10
Nitrites= .25
ok, so the pH is good, and the nitrates dont bother me since its not a sps tank or anything, but will the ammonia and nitrites go down by themselves, or should i do a water change?

Love the aquascape looks good. Thanks for the pics. I am not sure about the amonia and nitrites, I am still new to saltwater aquariums.
