LOL I love the room. Love the tank, love the crossbow, and love the cat. Everything is looking great. Wish my cat was as well behaved as yours. Mines not really tame though and I don't think it ever will be.

LOL I love grey tabbys. I had one when I was a freshman in college named Mezumir'u, named after the moon goddess in the Zida'ya mythology. First night the cat stayed with me, she spent the entire night meowing out the window at the moon.
Then I found out that "she" was a fixed "he", so the name didn't make as much sense....but it still stuck.
Tank looks great so far! I have to admit I really like the clean, uncluttered look of the nanocube style tanks. Just wish they weren't so darned expensive!! I can't wait to see this build....

Lol, my cat is actually a bobcat. Had to get a license to keep him permenantly. No mix at all. Its a great story about how I got him (also have his sister, but she lives with my parents). Its kind of a sad story and one most people probably wouldn't want to hear and I don't want to steal Meo's thread with a long article. He is quite the character though. Sometimes he's good sometimes not so much. I call him shredder, but the wife calls him pookie so he probably doesn't know his name. Shredder actually has a double meaning.
Real quick funny story though. Last week I had put my work clothes on. Brand new khakis and a polo. Was walking out the door and he jump off the couch onto my back. He ripped the entire back off my shirt and the entire back off of my pants. I mean the compelete back. Got the back of my T-shirt too and scratched me pretty good.
He didn't get my undergarments, but I'm surprised. Sometimes he's perfectly normal and sometimes he gets that wild instinct. Really wish I could let him go back into the wild but im almost certain he'd be a easy kill as he's so used to people. You should see the reactions when I take him for a walk.

I'll take a pic of the back tonight. BUT this cube is supposedly designed to house a chiller....It has vents in the sides and everything
I know I won;t need the chiller for a while though...LOL....SO if we need to do any type of mods....we have time to figure it out I guess

So.....When's the fish store opening? lol
About the skimmer... You might look at the SR3 and figure the footprint out. It's specifically built to fit in the back of the biocube 29 but it may fit inside your tank. It's fairly expensive and may be more then you need. Also ive heard some good things about it and some bad. I have never used it so I can't really comment on its usefullness. Just something to look at or into .
I need to buy another MP40 also or two. Idk how im going to tell the wife about buying more of them. Probably should just keep saving for another house and put it off.

From personal Experience using skimmers with air stones, once that skimmer starts pulling gunk out of the water that airstone will clog up quickly. It's insane how often you have to replace them. The footprint on that skimmer though looks like it may be one of your only choices. I would definitely order a pack of extra air stones if you opt for that skimmer unless you have a source locally to obtain them. Usually you can scrape the crud off the stone a few times before the stone itself starts to get eaten away. Someone else here has probably used that specific skimmer and can give you more info on it.

Look at the dimension on the Aquaticlife mini skimmer 115. I have had mine for about 2 years now. I would not hesitate to buy another if this one craps out for some reason. Fits in the chamber of the bio cube.
Agree with the airstone statement. Must be replaced at the very most monthly, probably sooner to keep it running correctly.

Yay, then you can fly in and lounge in the new hot tub, the temp is climbing. Don't think that I don't see it's potential as a lagoon, lol.
