can anybody tell me if i can put 2 dwarf angels in a 45 gallon without any fighting has anybody tried this?
I've read of people who had two dwarf angels in the same tank, but it was a large 150+ gal tank. In a small tank in my opinion is a gamble. You may get lucky and find two that don't fight. You never know...

current parameters:
- PH = 8.4
- Nitrite = 0.15
- Nitrate = 10
- Ammonia = 0.15
- Temperature = 79' F

ill try to add in 4 chromis on thursday or saturday
I did some reading on potter angelfish, and discovered their survival rate is terribly low. They have some very specific living requirements and are often stressed.

I would wait at least another week or two . Finish adding your LR . Then do a 50% water change ,Give that a day or two and then test your water . When it can go a few days with out coming off the 0 ppm mark on your amonia trates and trites thats when your ready .

As the mods say the solution for polution is dilution .

You shouldn't think about a timeline when cycling your tank. Wait until the ammonia and nitrites are at zero. Only after they are zero, do a 50% water change, then check the nitrates for a while and if they are low you can add some fish.

I would say you need to retest you peramiters .

Did you do a water change last night ?
There is no honest way you could go from having high numbers one day to not having them the next , other than having done a water change . Even then your cycle is not complete .

- Ammonia 0.25
- Nitrite 0.25
- Specific gravity 1.023
- Temperature 79' F
she said that i could do a 50% water change in 3 to 4 days and add fish 2 days after.

So far so good. I would add 15-20 snails and crabs (mixed) to get your cleaning crew on board.
Add the rest of the chromis and watch your levels. Once you are stable, add the rest.

I'm personally not a fan of little fish like chromis but your tank is coming along real nice.
