What is it make from? I've been thinking about using wormy chestnut to skin a stand. I took down an armoire that was built in at our new house. There is enough wood for stand and hood but I'm concerned about the weight.

I made it out of clear select pine. Its all 1x material and I used luan for the top.
I built the exact same canopy for my 125 / 6' long and I was very comfortable with it sitting on top of my tank.

Update.... I have gotten a lot done since my last post. The Bean Animal plumbing is done... the almost coast to coast overflow is done..... the closed loop suction and manifold is done. Im going to put my future 55 gal refugium under the stand today and leak test the plumbing and if all goes well ill start installing my Lumen Bright reflectors in the canopy later today and get some measurements for glass bubble traps and dividers in the refugium so i can order it monday.
BLA BLA BLA..... Here are some pictures.

Looks good! Are you having your CL return through the top?

If I could have a remote fish room I would definitely consider a CL, along with many other things, haha

How is the CL working out for you? I didn't see any adjustments on your outputs from your CL/loc line outputs. How are you planning to regulate flow through them if they aren't present?

Its working great Shawn. I didnt add any adjustment valves because i dont have enough space and i dont think ill need them. The only way to adjust is by using direction. I may also add a few Flow Accelerators. Here it is in action....

VVV, it's looking good! Looks like you're getting a lot of flow to most, if not all, of the tank. Really good work so far man. How did you get that YouTube video to show up in your post?

There is an "embed" option you click on in youtube... you copy the html code there...

On swf, when you post something there is an "html view" option. you click on that and paste the code. I'm pretty sure though that option doesn't appear unless you go to the full page editor... I could be wrong though.

I got a few more things of the list. First I got my 55 gallon sump/refugium finished. The first 16"cell is for the overflow and skimmer. The second cell is 24" and ill use that section for the refugium. I still am not quite sure what im doing in that cell yet but im leaning towards mangroves maybe......... and the last cell is for the return pump.

Next I got my Lumenbright reflectors installed in my canopy, I built a rack out of aluminum angle. I added 10 blue LEDs for moonlight sim.
