Two questions, what's the thought process behind the 1/4" foam? Just to even out pressure from the water/liner? You don't think it's going to be absolutely smooshed from the weight, at least on the bottom?
Also, no links, but what is the name of the company/model of liner you used? I see a seam, did you have to seam-it yourself, or it came like that?

The foam high density foam, it will crush a bit but its max compression it 1/8th of and inch. It is there to act as a buffer for the liner. I did not want it sitting on the bare wood. It allows the liner to take just a bit more of a blow without fear of a puncture or tear compared to if it was on a solid unforgiving surface
The brand is firestone 45 mil. it comes with the seam like that from the factory. I would never trust myself to make a seam that large. i hear it is super easy but I would not risk it unless I had to. You can get them without a seam however when it is a run this large they will always have a seam at some place.

No matter what you do the kids will always find a way to play in my work space. At least this time though I found it funny.

I thought marine grade only applied to plywood since all that was in question was the adhesive used in between plys. Did you mean treated?
