How much of the lining did you leave? how did you cut that and wrap it and make it not leak?

it folds out of the tank about 8 inches all the way around. then it just lots of tucking and folding to get it to lay perfectly flat. after that i just cut off the extra and screwed on the top 2"x10"s

i'm getting there. all i have to do it the back part of the tile around the drink ledge but i have been putting it off because in order to do it i have to get all the way into the tank. dont feel like swiming lol

did you pplace any on the bottom for more directional flow? If not would it be the same process?

not sure what you mean. are you talking about the returns now??
if so they are at various levels. the pipe extend down to allow differnt flow patterns. they also can be moved up and down and side to side
