I am really starting to love the tiny reef tanks, seeing a really cool setup in such a tiny space is such a cool thing.
I cant wait to see where you tank goes in the next 6 months
First thanks for the interest! I hope aim to please, I'm in the process of getting an SLR digital camera with a macro focus length of hopefully 4-12 inches(i'm not big into cameras so I'm not even sure if thats possible for under a grand). but that'd be awesome!
Well spanko did set a good bar for me to try and reach for with this tank from his perty examples.
So far I think I'm off to a good start. Next I need something blue, or maybe yellow. I'm considering getting some coco worms or feather dusters, but I'm not sure that it would be a good idea to have to fee plankton to such a tiny tank without a skimmer. Other good yellows can be found in flower pot corrals, but once again those need plankton. hmmm
Any thoughts on that? I currently am changing about a gallon a week (its only about 6 mid sized plastic cups!) I wonder if there are small enough skimmers that I could hang on the back as well (would i need one to justify plankton feeding in a tiny tank?)
