I'm just curious... how does the MAROON clown get along with the seahorse? I was under the notion that a maroon would destroy seahorses and pipefish since they're pretty aggressive towards most other fish.

yeah I know. I was weary, and had my eyes glued on the tank for hours after I introduced them. (there are 2 horses). But Claude the maroono seems to love them. He has been alone for a while and likes the company I think. I've had him about a year, maybe more, and he has never shown aggression towards other fish in the tank. Tonight one of the seahorses went to the open brain (which Claude hosts) and he swam right up but didn't mind or try to chase the seahorse out; and the seahorse stayed there for a good chunk of time. The clown is definitely an agressive eater though, but I've got a decent pod population built up for the horses, and lots of rockwork and places to hide/chaeto in the tank for them to hide in. I've got about 27-30 Lbs LR in there with caves, etc. I also plan to start a new (bigger) tank this year sometime and can move things around. But my eye is on everyone.

Well I finally joined my local reef club, and met one of the guys this morning at his place for a trade. He has 4 tanks; one of which is a tide pool tank with stuff from the coast of maine! He gave me so much stuff!!! I got a bottle of live culture phyto, which I am going to grow out and have in a coke bottle now with an airtube. I got a bali green slimer frag, some other type of sps frag and i cant remember what, but i think its a montiporia. I got some bright green palys and some beutiful brigh pink/red faced palys. : ) pics will come sometime soon

Thanks! I have the nova extreme pro t5s. They are all at the top 1/3 of the tank. I went to the beech today and scooped up hundreds of copeopods in the sand!!! I put them all in the 5 gal and am going to try to grow them and turn it into a refugium!!

copepods are roughly the same size as lice... you can see them if you know what to look for.
