yea i didnt want to sound mean but yea take out the background. you can do all black. which looks pretty nice. and your tank looks awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my girl wanted to add that on there and i did not want to hurt her feelings so i left it on there. It jus looks werid, its not a fresh water tank, so i should just put an all black background. What else should i do with the tank like putting in more LR, let me know dont hold back thats why i am asking for advice. I wont get mad like some people do with comments. Thats why i am here.

is that with your lights on? or off? if with your lights on thats the temp then your somewhat good. a normal reef temp should be at 76-78.

ok. do you wanna keep those damsel? if you dont take them out now since you dont have that much lr and take them to your lfs for credit. once you done that add more lr. try 20-25lbs. and yea a black background will make it look nice and better. if i were you i will take it back the damsels. they are ugly and worthless to me. buts it up to you. also why do you have the red algea there?

That is with the lights off in the picture, the heater comes on and off all by its self and that is the temp all the time may go up 1 or down 1 here and there but for the most part thats what it is. So u think it looks good for being up for ten days. i am also going to setup a 55 gal in about 2 weeks.

looks great for being set up for ten days. but before you set up your 55g make sure you got this one done. like that you dont run into anytrouble.
what you gonna do with the damels

no take it out. just feed your fish pellets. the lfs tried to hustle you since your new to this. before you buy anything. ask us and we will tell you what to buy and save you money

I will take them back to the LFS and yea i think they got me on the alge for the damels. I know i am going to wait first before i start my 55 gallon tank. First i want to get the 30 gallon all set up. What should i put in the tank after i add more LR and take back the damsels.

Ok cool how does my LR in my tank look like since i have had it for 10 days does it look healthy. and then after i add more lr in it i should be checking my water and after its all cycled i can add some beginner coral like we talked about and other fish in it.

Yup, once your all your lr is in, start checking your water every few days. It will probably be about a month from now, but just keep checking.
+1 on getting rid of the damsels asap.

yep +1! well if you get cured lr maybe about 3 weeks but if not a month. and rocks look great man! your tank looks awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do u have any pics of ur tanks that i could see how u have things setup, and should i keep both actinics bulbs in or change one of them and also should i also still buy that chemipure elite to put in the tank
