Yeah, sorry about that. I've been pretty busy with work. I'll be going home early tomorrow though, so I'll take some pics. If not, you could always come by and see what I've got in the tank that's fraggable. Is that a word? Anyway, I think I might do a Pico soon as well.

looks really good. i have a pico and i had it up for a couple of months.. i never could get my rock set up. i really like your aqua scape. i wish i could find rock like that. i never was really happy with my rock work.
i see your a zoa man your self... niiiiiiceee

keep it up. when that grows out its going to look great!

thanks man! means alot! i know i had a hard time to get rock for it but what i did was buy rock that the reefer broke for me. so everything came out

i know i love zoas, but im more into the rare ones, like the rainbows that i have and the RPE. im getting some nightmares, and xmen real soon with the common deep water zoas, and some armor of gods, armageddons and some other ones with a purple hornet!

as the title says:
i wanna take off all the lights and replace it with the powerbrite 50/50 one. my plan was to have the 36w PC but looking at these they seem better. what do you guys think????
if i get the powerbrite just one strip can i keep sps and lps????
or would 2 work????

with output of 40-50 lumens i would say one would work,,, but i dont know the depth to which these are efficient??? and im still not convinced that they can sustain certain corals..... i dunno???? Let us know how it woks out if you do it!

I was gonna stop at my local shop and get this also for supplemental lighting on another tank, I will send a pic of how bright it is when I have it setup.

i dont think the powerbrites will do much for your par but you can definately keep the easier sps. i dont see acroporas sustainable unless you do a par38 bulb

Agree with nikeSB here. At 4 watts for each 4 led unit (1 watt each led), they won't support a reef tank. These are designed as an add on to Power Compacts to achieve the shimmering of MH and perhaps a moonlight look.

i see. i had a feeling they wouldnt. but the shimmering is amazing! thanks Henry for the info as well.
i guess ima go with the Coralife 36w one and do some nice sps on it.
