I sure am glad that there are other people who feel just as strongly about this as me. At no point in their lifetime should a shark or a ray be in a 60 gallon tank. That's ridiculous.
And I also did not notice how pale the foxface was either. Fish do not get pale all of a sudden due to flash..
And you said you are here for your "love of the fish world"? Well, if you loved the fish world, why are you stressing out your animals in such a small enviroment?

i dont know really. rating an amp at MAX is for no other reason but to look cool. and very common when dealing with products from places like best buy or the likes.
high end units will never rate at max and in most cases dont make any mention of it. i would have to pull out the specs books, my guess would be around 2500.
when i bench the pre amps they come up to around 1920 rms so they are grossly underrated.
i know my subs run a 1000 max each and 800 RMS. I was looking at the specs book the other day is the only reason i happen to know that one.

and im guessing the pictures that have "salwaterfish.com" written in the center of the pics is what you are going to have in there? or what?
I saw words saltwater.com on a pic also, i don't think this guy really has these fish? If you do have them lets see some close ups of the tank and the fish

come on puffer..... so we dont agree with his set-up nor fish selection, but you dont have to call him a liar........ i took it as these are the fish he plans on getting seeing how one tank isnt set-up and he said that was going to be an agressive. But still..... if he has them, then i happen to disagreeon his fish selection a heck of a lot more, but im not goign to call him a liar. lol

I could really care less what he he has does or doesn't have in his tank. Well, thats not true, i care about the living creatures he is treating so cruely. And I just don't like someone giving new hobbiests any bad ideas.
these boards are to help people, not show them you can do anything you like and get away with it, just not good for the hobby

Hey Nok, everyone has their opinion. I believe it is the general consensous here that those fish are not suited for the 60 gal. tank. Awesome looking setup, in the long line of fish lives I believe an upgrade is well in order. You made a wonderful setup with these, just make a larger one and use 1 of the 60's as a refugium. Good luck! Barry

I thought the same thing puffer about him even having those fish in there but hey nothing we can do about it just try and guide him the right way on how to house the fish he has.

Oh trust me puffer. i am not saying that what is being done to these fish is acceptable in my mind. I am mearly saying not to call him a liar about the fish he has. lol As you said, these boards are to help people, so i was just trying to avoid anyone from getting offended and angery. Cause when people get angery, often they tend to defend their own ideas and beliefs even more and become oblivous to the facts around them. I am not calling Nokutral1 oblivious, i am jsut saying that it is human nature to do that....... So i believe by makeing sure that you are not making anyone angery, in the end, what is best for the fish will be on top is all..... just trying to look out for the fish/people here.
But are you still going to keep/purchase all those fish in those little tanks?!

well NOKTURNAL1 i think your a little ignorant because just because your not hearing what you want to hear you go straight ahead saying oh my fish are fine and they deffinately arent stressed.well there is know way someone who put a shark a ray 2 triggers a foxface and tangs in a 60 gallon is going to know what a stressed fish is going to look like.its a wonder how you keep the tank so clean????are you sure you had that tank for 1-2 years because i would think from the bioload you would have to be replacing fish every month.well for something positive maybe you should make the other tank a reef with a pair of clowns, blenny or goby of some sort and keep the yellow tang.as for the aggresive tank i guess you could maybe leave one of the triggers but ive seen a clown grow to be over 10 inches.you should put a lionfish in there, rockfish if you could, grouper like the panther grouper.but this is my suggestions.also bring the shark and ray to a friend or local dishstore that will take them because the tank is just way to small like said in many other replys

I would not put any of the types of triggers that are pictured there in a 60 gallon tank. the only one that i would suggest is an undelated, but i have heard they are too nasty to even be hosued with everything else. The V lion will not fit. You must get a dwarf species or another type. there are pleanty of other types that arent as small as a dwarf, but arent as big as a v. IMO, a yellow tang needs more space too, but some people beg to differ. ANY grouper will get waaaay toooo biiiig for a 60 gallon. But there are pleanty of agressive fish taht could go in there, just not the ones you have. do a snowflake eel, they are awsome.

yea i figured the grouper would get big but i was thinking since the panther grouper comes very small then when it grows give to a friend or the LFS.yea i would also suggest the yellow tang in a bigger tank but ive seen them do farely well in 60's and 55's.
