YearOfTheNick IS Kirk Cameron.

Arguing with the ultra religious is an effort in futility. The Dead Sea Scrolls prove nothing. Again, fables written by historians. My take on Jesus was he was like a current day 'fire and brimstone' preacher you'd see in those circus tents around the country. He apparently knew magic and slight of hand to convince his victims he was real. Probably didn't take much back then. Shoot, the 'water to wine' trick is done in Vegas all the time.

And you want to dispel that Neanderthals and dinosaurs didn't exist? Come on', you can't be that much of a fanatic. There's PHYSICAL proof, unlike your Second Coming visions. Sounds like all we need to do is disprove The Bible is authentic. That'll burst the bubble of every religious fanatic. So all I have to do is take away your faith, and you have nothing else to live for? You need to get out more...
If I was Kirk Cameron, I'd shoot myself in the head.
I never doubted the existence of Dinosaurs... they obviously existed... we have millions of dino bones to prove it. Clearly you didn't read through what I said.... which was that I don't think Dino's lived the same time that people in biblical times did... but YES I believe dinosaurs existed.
Even if we proved the bible to be a fake, there are way too many other scrolls out there that line up perfectly with the bible... you'd have to prove that 70% of what we found in the middle east is wrong to prove the bible is wrong. Way too many strings attached... but I invite you to try.
Taking away my faith won't take away my will to live dude. I've got a great family, love what I do for a living (construction) and have air in my lungs... and I haven't travelled the world yet... that's definitely something to live for. I'd love to at least take my family around the world before I die.
Actually, I do need to get out more. I'm spending way too much time on this forum taking to you jokers.

Why is it that all of the non believers keep ( directly and indirectly)calling the believers idiots and insult them?? I do not see any of the Christians on this site calling you or your ideals stupid or moronic or idiotic

Just look at the movie your idol was in. Da,Dum. Da,Dum. DADumDaDum. DoDododo... Look at the evolution of the shark. How did it evolve?
I don't know what proof you need that this world and the universe itself wasn't created by some Great Being. Problem with proving it is scientists haven't found that piece of the Earth that does prove it. Maybe it's somewhere in the center of the earth, or somewhere out in the universe. Unfortunately, current technology doesn't allow us to dig to the center of the earth, or allow us to explore the universe and report back in the same millenium. But that's the only limiting factor to prove the theory of evolution. But you have absolutely nothing to prove creationism with the exception of a book and some scrolls that tell the tales of this First Coming, and how they THOUGHT the world evolved. Other than that, you'd need this Big Guy to somehow prove it.
Being a christian is a personal preference. Religion provides that sanctity from the everyday world that allows an individual to have faith. If that's what gets you up for the next day, good for you. I personally don't need it. The problem is the christians and creationists want to push their beliefs down my throat, and tell me my life will be miserable unless I follow their doctrines. How many evolutionists do you know that have shows every Sunday condemning someone who doesn't believe that god doesn't exist? How many evolutionists try to have laws, even Constitutional Amendments, changed so that they reflect their views and beliefs? You want to believe in the Almighty? Fine. Just don't try to force me to believe it, and more importantly, try to alter the foundations of of country, to meet your agendas.

Ok I am going to propose a different question regarding this. From a totally different outlook. As claimed by some the bible is a fairy tale, a "good story" and nothing more. Christianity is a man made ideal as is religion.
Ok I can see how that outlook might be perceived...but explain why this man made ideal and story basis it's entire existence in the region of Isreal. Why Isreal? Why Jerusalem? Why not Rome, or Athens, or old Gaul, even old France. Or england? Seems to me these empires would make a much more logical center focus for the "story" to take place and derive evrything from. After all, history is written by the victors. When has Isreal ever been a glorious empire of victors. At the time of Jesus it was controlled by Rome. Why base a "good story" in a lame setting?

I only need read this thread to see how many of the athiests and agnostics have called the believers idiots for believing so. You don't need a show, you have a forum to do that in.
what foundations of this country are being altered?

Didn't we just do this one? I like your reverse logic to try and prove there is this magical entity you called God, Messiah, The One, His Holiest, or whatever the name someone gives it. Show me proof there IS a God, or stay off the thread. Physical proof. Viable validation this god exists. You use logic that something had to create this world. I say it's the Big Bang Theory. Prove me wrong. Can't do it without this Big Guy of yours showing up.
Awefully insulting aren't you? Believe what you want, but not all Christians believe in Creation, or that Revelation predicts the end of the world.
My belief is that God doesn't want there to be any proof of His existence. If there was proof, we lose our Free Will, our greatest gift that makes us human. Besides, it's not my responsibility to prove anything to you...we will all find out when we die I guess.

Sharks are considered to be prehistoric, but there isn't any proof that they evolved from anything else, although there were other species in prehistoric times that dwarfed our great white shark.
I didn't ask for you to say a single word on this thread. It was you who challenged my beliefs, and me who did the best to show you why I believe. I wasn't pushing it on you at all. Again, you took the initiative and challenged me first. I answered.
Actually, if you watch those sunday sermons, you'll see that they have horribly watered down the bible, and made it seem very appealing to the non-believer. Joel Osteen for example. He does an excellent job of motivationally speaking with a twist of God... "You will live in victory and prosperity every day with Jesus! " Please. Give me a break. Like God is the owner of some kind of Candy store you can go in and loot whenever you want.
I almost got a job at the Crystal Cathedral - a huge church in SoCal that televises their sermons, but I ended up not taking the job because I felt they were preaching more heresy and lies than they were the truth. Did you know that they spend $80k/yr on a 24/7 limo service for each of the two senior pastors? What a disgusting waste of money that hard working people give in faith.

Why don't you show proven theories of God aka principles or laws and I'll shut up.. You're calling the kettle black. While you show no evidence yourself, you yell at me for not showing any.. come on now, that's your stereotypical, "lame" Christian coming out. Start pointing fingers yelling screaming with blinds over your eyes and with all the noise you're constantly putting out, you can't hear others.
BTW.. can you show me any primary sources for the OT or NT? yeah.. that's right, that'll shut you up. Primary sources are required for any document to be considered valid.

Shoot I don't know. Doesn't Israel have some of the oldest genealogies there... or something like that?

So I guess you don't have any proven theories of evolution. All you CAN do is insult me and put me down. Nice. Your hypocrisy amazes me. Seriously.
I've got a great idea, how about you read my postings before you decide I haven't given you any proof. I've given you plenty of sources, listed above. There are external links referenced in the links to other postings I've made in the past about the cambrian explosion as well. Feel free to check the facts I've referenced. They're good.
Still you have nothing to prove to me? Not even a Sarkar quote? I think you're just trying to ruffle my feathers. Unless you have something to show me, then I see no point in continuing to respond to your postings dude. Sorry.

Doesn't explain why man would pick this area for their "made up story". They had no way of knowing geneologies back then and like I stated, many other empires were in control during this time. My question is not posed to believers but non-believers.
While we are at it, how can so many people throughout the long history of the world believe such a falsehood? How can a book have so many authors sharing the same similar lifestyles and beliefs having never known each other?
Explain certain phenomenon such as stautues bleeding from the eyes, the face of jesus in a veil and the various other phenomenon such as ghosts, spirits and what not. Explain the white light people claim to see when they die and heading towards before they are brought back to life. Explain the sensations of floating out of their body when they died that they describe.........
