Not oil related, but Our Lord and Savior has finally let his fanatical anti-Semitism show. He knows as well as anyone that it would leave Israel 8 miles wide and give the high ground to Syria and Jordan. It would leave every square inch of Israel within artillery range of enemies who have vowed to kill the Jews and destroy Israel. I really hope and pray this will wake up Jewish Americans to his true plans. This move alone is making me reconsider who this man is.

Mantis....if I remember correctly you are a christian.........if so...stop with the lord and savior bit. You know why. If not...still stop...even I don't want to read your posts when they start out in that manner.

Be clear that corporations do not pay taxes. Corporations collect taxes.
They are "taxed" as well. By taxing the corporations the government can hide the amount of taxes we really do pay. It's like the "employer contribution" to FICA. I am old enough to remember when that slight of hand was created. What is sad is there were a lot of people too stupid to realize that money comes out of their paycheck just like any other costs the employer pays on their behalf.

Interesting point of view. I find it odd considering your past penchant for using tongue-in-cheek sarcasm. There are many historical references to people being called "saviors", such as those who stop a violent crime. Lord is a common reference to those in authority, such as England's "House of Lords". There is no direct reference to a deity in any way. Seems you are having a bad day and finding a petty excuse for an argument. As I am not using the phrase in a religious sense, as explained above, I see no reason to desist or continue an argument with you.

That is exactly what I am saying. Even a loaf of bread has embedded taxes in the price going all the way back to the wheat farmer. I saw a study once, years ago, that found as much as 50% of the price of certain goods was tax collection during production and distribution. I need to look at that again and see what it is now.

When the liberals claim our tax rates are at an all time low they fail to mention all the taxes that have been created since the 50's and the increases in hidden taxes over that time. Things like the EPA disposal fee on tires and motor oil that didn't exist 20 years ago are a scam too. Tires and motor oil are recycled so why are we paying the EPA a "disposal fee"?

It only took 108 years to repeal the telephone tax to help fund the Spanish-American War, so we have hope that someday this might be repealed too.

I loved how the Israeli PM took Obama to town, ate his wheaties, then basically told him to get out of the way while the adults ran his country.
A real classic from a real leader.

Elect Trump as POTUS, and he'll solve Israel's problems by simply nuking the place. Doesn't matter anyway, today is The End Of The World...

There is a reason Trump has donated far more money to the democratic party over the years. As a corporate businessman, outsourcing could become bigger, Although, telling the new Al Quada Leader "Your Fired" could be entertaining.........

Both sides of the House & Senate are on a mission to send our jobs to China and India, it's not just the Democrats.
I suppose that's why Trump and big business donates to both sides...

He also said he was runnin g for president....I don't believe anything that guy says...trump would do what benefits trump first...and screw the country.
