So perhaps one of you from the political left can explain where in the constitution A woman's right to privacy in the matter of an abortion is granted.
If she wanted to sit on her bedroom and smoke a joint it doesn't exist
If she wanted to enter into a polygamist marriage it doesn't exist
If she is terminally ill and wants her doctor help her to end her life to avoid suffering it doesn't exist
And there are multitudes of drugs and medical procedures allowed in other countries that are banned in this country and the right to privacy doesn't come into play.
There is no right to absolute privacy granted in the constitution yet you have no problem when courts restrict specifically granted rights.
Give me a good interpretation of Amendment 9 - unenumerated rights. Everything I read, that can mean anything regarding an individual's rights.

A woman that wants an abortion, that's her Life, Liberty, and pursuit of Happiness...
Smoke a joint? Some states allow it. It's only a misdemeanor if you have less than an ounce in your possession.
Polygamy? It's practiced all over Utah. We've even got a big ranch here in El Dorado, Texas. They arrested some of the men because they 'married' kids, but ended up letting most of them go. They're all back there as we speak, still living large with all their 'sister wives'...
Just read an article the other day where there's a medical group trying to get laws past in some state that will allow assisted death in certain situations. I personally had no problem with Kervorkian. If I ever get into a terminal illness situation, I'd prefer to have one of his devices to get it over with.
The only reason most of those medical procedures in other countries are banned, is because the FDA has too many drug company lobbyists keeping them from approving them.
