Just watch what you put in there... looks like the filtration cuts off about 4" of width in the tank. Good luck.

I'm not sure. Kinda what I was wondering about you putting a Panther Grouper in an uncycled tank that's not nearly big enough for it. :notsure:

It may survive (the panther grouper) but would you want to be forced to live in a home where you had to constantly breathe in thick black smoke? Thats basically what your forcing this poor fish to do! Live in smoke! Well, not really, more like crap from the CC and from setting it up...but still, you all get the point. And no offense Puffer, but please use periods. Your run-on sentences are driving me crazy. (sorry. not trying to sound like a grammar teacher) Its just hard to tell when you change subjects or who you are talking to.

The tank may be cycled, but with that crap from the CC floating in the water, your ammonia/nitrite/nitrate is gonna go SKYROCKETING!!!

I don't doubt that but it appears that of your 18" of width, about 4" is separated for filtration.

All i can say is good luck with the Cc In the aggresive tank nitrate trap waiting to haunt you. Just make sure you monitor the levels for the poor fishes sake.
