Since you love the NBA preseason so much, did you see my Pistons beat the Heat in overtime the other night?
Pistons should be top 3 in the east again and, unless they make a significant trade will probably get knocked out in the final 4 again.

Yes, I read about it you Moorish Idol Murderer! LOL Just Kidding! For real good luck in your fish trial adventure. I didnt see the Piston do one damn thing in the off season, Not one thing. I dont think you will do anything this year or years too come with "Circle White Spot Sheed" or Magical playoff disappearing Billups.. Until they clean house they will always be the "Braves of Basketball"

Oh, sorry...To answer your question, my team is of course the Phoenix Suns

Outlook is tough to say, the West is loaded again from New Orleans, Utah, San Antonio, Houstan, Denver, Dallas, of course the Lakers on paper are the best team in the league with Bynum back and better, and Portland should be a playoff team as well. I hope Shaq is motivated and healthy, and Nash and Hill need to stay healthy, Amare is a monster and one of the top 5 players in the league, Robin Lopez was a good draft choice for Phoenix, and Terry Porter should bring some new fire as coach. I hope Phoenix will return to being one of the NBA elite after a year off of that.

Don't forget their blockbuster signing of a former #1 overall draft pick who is now entering the prime of his career....

Unfortunately I think Shaq was completely the wrong move for the team last year. His style of play doesn't fit with Phoenix' game. I think their trade, as well as Dallas' last year, made their teams worse. They were desperation moves.
And now, assuming that Phoenix doesn't have the pieces to get it done this year, what do they do for the future? Shaq is probably playing his last year and may not even play that much as he has been injured a lot in recent years. So what will the roster look like next year and after that?
I think that Denver and Dallas (and Phoenix) are pretenders. Houston always intrigues me but can never really get it done. I think that San Antonio will be there in the end, probably with the Lakers.

Theres a good chance of them repaeting.
NBA just needs to change the rules of the playoffs. Im tired of seeing east teams that dont even have a chance to win in the playoffs when there will be 10 teams out of the west w better records than the last 3 East teams to make the playoffs!
Newayz if I had to pick my team its Lakers. But my 3 fav teams are Lakers, Rockets, and Celtics since.
Lakers are gonna be a force with Bynum. The west is gonna be great battling for the playoffs
All Playoff Teams this yr in the west!
Blazers
Lakers
Clippers
Mavericks
Rockets
Spurs
Nuggets
Hornets
Jazz
Suns

How do you guys think the Sixers will do this year? Elton Brand was a huge signing and the young players will only get better.

haha U gotta root for grant hill. lol the next jordan til he got hurt! But hes a good guy u gotta like em. Always Smiling.
And Shaq was a big bust by the suns. Shoulda just kept marion and kept joe johson a couple yrs back. He was the player when he playd w them who played the most mins. Woulda kept that 2005-2006 team I think it was. And they coulda more than likely had a ring by now.
And Lopez did look very nice. And he isnt even the best one!

I think the sixers will go deep into the playoffs. They look really good especially with the addition of Brand who I love and up and comer A.I. and Dalembert. Good team, Great GM.

I am really excited about the tip off of the 2008 season and thrilled that D. Rose will be our starting PG. I don't think he will be rookie of the year but from what I have seen he is going to be very good.

MY guys got ROY hands down my friend!

Hate to break it to you boys but the only teams that have a shot at the rookie of the year are the bad ones, because they pick high in the draft. Keep your rookie of the year... you can talk about it while watching my Pistons play in June.

Seriously, though, I wonder how many teams have had a rookie of the year and gone deep in the playoffs...
