Common brown Palythoa sp. with the pinks too probably would be my guess. They may get some green to them too, but mostly just brown.
Here is a picture from aquatic tech.

I had a totally different name in mind

So what should I do....cut them off????
So did I... but I wasn't gonna go there..... :)
I wouldn't touch them just yet. The pinks are stressed and need to recoup. They won't appreciate additional man handling at this point. When they open, and look good, then hack the palys off.

My brother is in Alberta as well. Works for something like 6 weeks and then returns home for a bit... back and forth.
Bahahahahahahahaha!
Oil field worker?
I work at Canada's largest beef processing plant as a power engineer!
I cant complain making 65K+ a year as a control room boiler operator and advancing in my career. But I hate Alberta... Nothing to do... Just cows and hay fields.... I love the outdoors and there just not here....

Ah its pretty good! I love living on the coast of B.C., can find all sorts of neet stuff for a cold water setup!
Most things are a little over priced but hey its still ok. Its hard to find some of the rare fish and coral, have to go to Calgary or Vancouver for the real hard to get stuff. I have been buying from ---- and US stores for most of my equipment for the 130 gal I'm setting up! You just cant find the high end equipment here for anything short of your right arm LOL
