Why is a foreign country's poor and crime America's fault? Why shouldn't Mexico take care of Mexico's poor? Who's fault is it that Mexico is such a slum-ridden heck-hole that they have to leave to make a living or escape the violence? Mexico has some of the strictest gun laws, shouldn't everyone in Mexico be safer there? Mexico has government health care, wouldn't they be better off there? Why can't liberals see that opposition to illegal activity doesn't equal hatred? Most importantly of all; why do liberals want to flood America with criminal foreigners and then try to stop voter fraud by those same criminals? I think the answer to every question I posed is self-answering. Illegals, from Mexico or anywhere, are pawns to be used by liberals for political gain. So solving those problems would remove the political tool those poor people have become to liberals.

That's all those NeoCons know how to say "Liberals, Liberals, Liberals." Your lack of intelligence is showing. It's called political corruption. Mexico has the natural resources and abilities to be a thriving country, but their entire society is based strictly on class. You have the Ultra wealthy that command and keep the poor "poor". There's sections of Monterrey, Puebla, and Mexico City that would put homes in Malibu to shame. We have two major shopping malls here in San Antonio, and every Easter you can't get near them with all the wealthy "Mexicans" coming into town and buying everything they can get their hands on. That's the direction this country is heading. The Republicans want to keep the wealthy "rich" and the middle and lower class "poor".

Gotta love your twisted logic. Quit using "Liberal" like it's a four-letter word. All that does is show immaturity and ignorance. The only reason the vehicle crashed was because the driver lost control. They still haven't confirmed all the victims were illegal. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know how you and mantis feel about illegal immigrants that enter this country. To you they are nothing but useless garbage that could be tossed in the landfill. You have no clue why they were in that vehicle, what their history was, or what their intentions wee for coming to this country in the first place. You ASSUME the worst, and have no sympathy for the loss of a life and whose loved one's may not even know they're dead.
Imagine a liberal lecturing someone else about logic LOL!
Pickup loaded with nearly two dozen
Traveling just north of the boarder
Occupants were from Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico
Yeah, no reason to assume they were sneaking into the country
But the RACIST Texas law enforcement officers called in ICE to handle the investigation

You are calling him stupid when you can't even comprehend his question?

Because his questions have no logic. He stereotypes that every illegal immigrant that comes to this country is some violent criminal ready to drag his chica out the door and have their way with her. He can't comprehend what life these people lead at no fault of their own. They're poor and downtrodden because the Mexico government and society as a whoile keeps it that way. So they either live a life of pittance or starvation, or go somewhere that has the easiest access to attain some form of freedom from oppression. Put yourself in their shoes. You live in a adobe shack the size of a small tool shed, get a job that equates to $8/day in pay, and subsist of tortillas, masa, chicken, and goat. Meanwhile, you can cross a river and walk into a country that allows you to make more in a hour than you do all day at home. Which lifestyle would you prefer? The "haves" have no perception of what the "have nots" have to go through. Even our homeless have it better than most of these migrant workers that come over here to make enough money to take back home to have some form of better life. The problem is, you don't get it. Cross the border some time and see why these people risk their lives to come over here. If you were dropped into that environment, and were forced to live that way, you'd be "swimming across" as fast as you could get to the Rio Grande.

Yes, Mexico is such a richer and safer place than America. It's why so many Mexicans are coming to America to live poorer and in more fear. Makes total sense.

Seems like a pretty straight forward question to me.

You're an isolationist. "I have what's mine. You unfortunately grew up in an environment that is poor and desititute. Sucks to be you." Wonder if the US had that mentality when your ancestors showed up at these borders, and they sent them back home, what kind of life you'd be living today.

LOL! So answer the question rather than deflecting and trying to change the subject.

I explained how the system works in Mexico. You just chose to ignore it.
You sit here and complain about how you taxes goes towards those "poor people in Mexico", yet you seem oblivious to the fact that we've spentalmost a trillion dollars on those "poor" people in Afghanistan and Iraq, rebuilding their country and providing them aide.
You deflect and refuse to answer mine. If you were a new immingrant wanting to enter this country legally today, the current process takes anywhere from 8 - 10 YEARS to complete. Where would you be right now if your decendents had to wait that long to come here? This country was built on a multitude of "illegal immigrants". You think those thousands of Africans that were shipped over here to become slaves of the South went through some immigration process? How many thousands of French and German immigrants entered this country through New Orleans and Galveston as indentured servants. Think they came here legally? Until final annexation occurred, half the people in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona WERE Mexicans. Anyone who was lucky to be on this side of the border when everything was finalized automatically became naturalized US citizens. So because of a simple boder change, two diverse cultures formed. Unfortunately, those "South Of The Border" didn't fare too well. So now there's generations of Mexicans who are suffering for that choice.

LOL! You are doing it again. You explained the motivation for illegals to come here. The question is "why is Mexico (and south America mostly) welfare issues our responsibility"
Again, why is it our problem? Most of us know what motivates them. I know what motivates someone who hacks bank accounts, steals cars, does identity theft etc. That doesn't mean I sit back and allow them to do it. The question is why should it be our responsibility?

We all know why and here's why I asked. There are about 6.5 billion people on earth. About 80% live in utter poverty and want to come here. It is racism by "Mexican-Americans" to think that because someone is brown skinned and speaks Spanish that they should be put ahead of everyone else in the world and be allowed to come here, uninhibited, legally or illegally, while every other race and nationality has to wait and wait and maybe never have a chance. And the liberals are more than happy to feed that racism to curry favor with the law-breakers and those that support the law breakers. And that is why The Messiah is trying to destroy my state.

I would like to answer the question...It should not be our responsibilty. There should not be a border patrol. People should be allowed to go where they want and if they are willing to get a job they should be allowed to make the same money as everyone else doing that job. If the pay is the same, it evens the playing field, and folks will get and keep a job according to their willingness to work.
I know...
We don't live in that perfect world, what a shame. Our country did begin with that kind of mind set, but we lost it along the way somewhere. America was the place for new beginnings, a place where everyone could come and be welcome to set up shop and make a living. The cubans, the Mexicans, the Irish, the Jews, the Italians and well just about anyone except the Indians who were originally here.
I can't imagine sitting in the dark guarding the border and shooting at a family trying to find a better life. I could never look a person in the eye who just wants to make a living and send some money home for his family...and send him/her back empty handed. Nor does it make an iota of sense to have perfectly healthy people come here and be fed and clothed on the money others have to work hard for.

Absolutely true, all of it. Now, no one that I know has advocated shooting people as they come over the border, much less tried it. That's just silly stuff people like Bionic say because they think it has emotional impact. Let me ask you, Flower, since we can't take all 5 billion or so poor people who want to come here and have immigration laws to make it fair to all the poor who can't feed their families, why should Mexicans be given special access that Indians or Kenyans or Chinese or Ukranians or any other nationality or race are given? By saying that because they're poor and we shouldn't turn them away, we are saying that they are above the law and every other race on earth. So what makes Mexicans so special and untouchable that they should be granted unfettered access while every other race and nationality has to wait for years, LIKE MY FAMILY DID? Why is their poor so special that the gate should be opened while we close it for everyone else?
