Ok, they're not the best pics but....they're pics.LOL I should have waited to post this until things settled down a bit. However, out of excitement I just had to share.
Another good thing about this tank, is I got to move my hobby back into the living room. The wife really likes the way this tank looks.
Here is the wall its on. There isn't any power on this wall so that's why there is an extension cord. It will go away soon. The stand will also get finished but, probably not any time in the near future.

Still cloudy. Kinda hard to see all the details right now.

I'm already lovin the scape. Well done.
Thanks Spanko. I just have to make it all work out now. You have set the bar. I could easily limbo under it with out ducking. I have a lot of work to do in order to get half what you've accomplished.

Wow!! Thanks everyone!!
I'm glad you all like it. I think its gonna really come into its own, once the coraline covers things up and I get my coral in there. A sea fan, a clam.....So far, no issues with PH. It hasn't gone above 8.3 so far. I'm pretty excited about that right now. Being a cement based tank and all.
I've turned my focus toward my light fixture now. I'm thinking of going halide only. Purely for a more compact light. I could put in some LEDs for the blue effect I guess??? I'm thinking of either doing a stainless steel or an Inconel fixture. I have 6" tubing in either flavor. I "might" be able to pull off some 6" tubing in titanium. If I go with sheet stock and break form it, I'm gonna have to go with stainless steel only. Any ideas?? I'm running a mogul base halide. I have the adjustable Lumatek 250 watt ballast. It will do HQI but....I'm not for certain if it has to be a 250 watt HQI bulb??? I don't mind running the mogul bulbs. They might even give better coverage??

You could always take a bit of sand from your other tank to help your sand bed and never hurts to get some friends sand to get more beneficial critters. Same with rock, if you could buy a couple pieces or take a piece of rock from another tank that would help the cycle start, as well as coraline. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more rock work & I like the look of sand versus CC. I'll keep watching to see progress.

Thanks for the kind words.

All the rock and sand is out of my other tank. The tank that is pictured in the beginning is now torn down. That's why I have fish in this new tank. It shouldn't cycle, if it does. It will be a small one. I used sand and not CC. It really fine. When the female Clarkii kicks up the sand bed, it goes every where.

Thanks Gill.
I got my halide over it now. Its not in any kinda of a fixture, but its shinning brightly.
I have a couple of 10s sitting around too. I want too do them up real bad, but I don't want any more tanks going. I'm really having a hard time with not doing up the 20L I just drained.
