Thanks Azul! I love the tanks in here with tons of corals, but I am taking it slow so I can learn about the 3 I have. I want this tank to grow organically and be healthy, until I eventually move the contents of the tank into a huge reef. My finger coral is curently shedding, so I think he is growing!!!

Thanks. I am wanting to go total ricordia, but have trouble parting with the zoanthids. Some of them are just awesome. When I forst started reef-keeping back in the early 90s zoanthids were not around, at least where I lived. It is amazing how such a small coral can capture ones attention and focus.
Maybe I will end up putting my 14gl to use. All zoanthids in there and ricordias in the 20. Crap, now that it is in my mind, it will probably become my obsession.
Here is my tank abotu a month ago before I started moving corals and adding. I wish I had jsut left it.

It’s a 14 gal. tank, and cleaning is easy I just wipe down the inside (including the back wall) with a little piece of cut-up filter pad about every other day (only takes a min. to do) then I take turkey baster and create a little storm right before I do a water change of about 2 ½ gallons each week. My clean up crews are two hermits (which are the trouble makers of the tank
), 2 Nassaruis snails, 2 Nerite snails, bunch of the Mini-Turbo snails come out at night and 2 crabs that just appeared one day, not sure what they are but they are fun to watch and so far they have been good little crabs, so I’m keeping them (unless they turn bad). And that's it one clean tank with nice white sand and only a few minutes a day.

I know you said pic, but how about a video and pic. First the video which is 5mo. old at this point. This was before I contracted the dreaded motipora eating nudi's and before the tank was moved to it's current location.

The following are pics.

This is right before the move, but after the nudi's.

The rest are as it sits now.

And last but not least an overhead shot from last week. The tri color gets more purple everyday.

It's a 20xh w/ hang on back Emporer power filter(no filter just rubble, macro, and a bag of refugium mud), Prizm deluxe skimmer, Outer Orbit 24" w/reeflux 10k 150w HQI, 2 tunze 6025's, and 2 MJ1200's. Water changes @ 20% per week. I use Randy's 2 part for Alk and Cal. and reef plus Amino acids.

I know Im a little late but here is a fairly recent (3 weeks ago) Picture of my 29 Biocube. The tank is 2 1/2 months old...

Thanks. I kept the hippo tang for almost 2 years in this setup and he grew quite nicely. After being baggered by bleeding heart tang activists, I decided to give him to a new home. He died about 2 weeks later. I'd rather live in a cramped space myself w/ everything I need, rather than a mansion where I'm doomed to die at the hands of a lax caregiver.

Here's a quick pic of my 29g biocube, it's 5 mos old. I should have cleaned the glass because I noticed I have little eggs of some kind all over it, oh well!
