Here's another UPDATE:
I bought 2 power heads from a member on here (leave the person nameless) and will wait for them to come in the mail. You know who you are, so thank you for the good deal on the power heads.
Today I bought a protein skimmer, 2 replacement filter cartridges, a calcium test kit, a thermometer, and 20 snails for a CUC.

"Clean Up Crew.........ASS........EM........BLE!!!!!!!!!"

QUESTION:
"I placed the protein skimmer in the back of the chamber as per following the directions. I did everything the directions stated, but I am not getting any air bubbles at all from the skimmer at all. I even adjusted it way up, and still nothing. Does it take a while for it to work properly, or should it be instantly?"

Most skimmers have a break in period....I am not familiar with the bio-cube one.....I do have the JBJ nano cube one though......when you say it makes no bubbles....DO YOU MEAN FOAM?
what types of snails did you get?

I fixed it. I don't know why there is this clear/black part with no circulation at all going through it. I removed this part, and now it's foaming up very nicely. I adjusted the airflow to where it works fantastically now. It just barely foams at the top (which I'm sure that's what it's supposed to do, according to the directions)
The snails I got were 10 cerith snails, and 10 candy something snails. I don't know the exact name of these things, and I lost my receipt, otherwise I see for sure.....lol

The place I bought them from has written on the glass some "Candy" snail name. I don't know if that was a nickname they named them, and I know they put the real name of them underneath, but I only remembered "Candy" something.....lol
Now I have to name them all.
I'm going to name one Abby Something.........(from Young Frankenstein)............Abby Normal.......lol

The Nuragic and Contemporary Art Museum, also known as "Betile", is a planned museum in football stadium.
The structure is very futuristic, and it is similar to a coralline concretion. The museum will be dedicated to Nuragic and contemporary art. Works from Sardinia and the Mediterranean will be displayed.

Ok, I got my power heads. Thank you to the member who sold them to me. They work nicely. One question. They seem not as powerful as I would have expected. I mean they flow nicely, and I think the seller said they flow 400 gallons per hour. Each power head is like 1/4 of the flow rate of the stock pump that came in the biocube. Does this sound right? And if so, let me know if I have them positioned correctly in the tank with the provided pictures.
The stock pump outlet is positioned up and to the side of the glass. The power head bellow it is positioned at a slight downward angle and towards the live rock. The other power head is positioned at a slight angle up and towards the glass. I positioned this one this way as to counter the opposing force of the stock pump outlet nozzle.

Here is the setup of the stock flow nozzle and the first power head. I don't know what this yellow stuff is. It just shows up on the picture, but I assure you that it's not in the tank for real.

And, here is the second power head set up.

Are these set up properly?

ya ur water dosent look that good in the pics!
Id put the two powerheads down on the glass side walls and point em at each other and the output from ur filter try and point towards the middle and down! So it creates a turby washy effect with the water and makes it turbulent! Kinda like a washing machine!

OK, so I stirred up alot of crap doing this, so if my water looks bad, it's because I stirred everything up. But I wanted to place this picture on here and ask if this is what you meant:

That looks better to me! Hows the flow look around the whole tank? You can out them back a lil more and point them at the front well at each other if u know wat i mean? It might hide those giants a lil more!
On the side note! Do u have a trusty turkey baster? Id get one and make it for FISH ONLY....turkey baster ur rocks to clean em out...making em more useful as a bio filter!
Usually i only stir things up well doing a water change but since i dont see anything critter wise in ur tank i dont think itll matter so much!

Out of town. LOL. But koralias flow is put out different then the other types. One reason they are better. I would put one on back pointing forward and the other on opposite side pushing across back
