Still think Ayers is nothing.
"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully," the Democratic presidential candidate wrote in his memoir, "Dreams From My Father." "The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."

Once again proving you don't even know your politicians own positions. Does it ever bother you Rylan that those of us who are so scared and so vehemently opposed to Obama know his positions better than you?
Question: Do you support state legislation to:
a. ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns? Yes.

b. ban assault weapons? Yes
.
c. mandatory waiting periods and background checks? Yes
.
Those are Obama's answers Rylan. Banning the selling, manufacturing and possession of handguns is not against guns?????

Why is that an incorrect position? So now as soon as Obama gets into office, he's gonna knock off a couple conservative judges so he can nominate a couple liberal ones to change specific laws you love? Don't these juducal candidates have to be approved by a Senate Committee that is non-partisan?
What part of the Government Archive I quoted about changing the constitution did you not understand? THE CONGRESS CONTROLS WHAT AMENDMENTS CAN BE CHANGED, NOT THE SUPREME COURT. Dude, you need to get out of that desert heat. It's affecting how your brain works.

Where do you get this junk? You keep spouting some vague verses he said out of context in speeches and conversations about gun control issues. SHOW ME IN HIS CAMPAIGN PLATFORM WHAT HIS SPECIFIC PLANS ARE ON GUN CONTROL. I tell you dude, with your illogical reasoning, you're a prime candidate to have a handgun taken from your possession.

hmm never realised that looking at his past record and action was illogical.

During the years of 01-05 The republicans controlled the Executive branch, House of Representatives, and Senate. As you can see they squandered the gift given to them by the people from the chart.... Stop the retribution of wealth to China and Wallstreet. I said it before - we value the invester more than the worker, this needs to stop...
Go figure how a 5% reduction in oil usage and a 1.5 million barrel cut in oil production = a 50% drop in oil prices? Is it the speculators are scared of getting caught in the volatile market swings, the sound economy, election low profile, which it it...

[hr]
"This administration had its moment. They had their chance. They have not led. We will.
This generation was given the gift of the best education in American history. Yet we do not share that gift with everyone. Seven of 10 fourth-graders in our highest poverty schools cannot read a simple children's book.
And still this administration continues on the same old path with the same old programs while millions are trapped in schools where violence is common and learning is rare.
This administration had its chance. They have not led. We will.
America has a strong economy and a surplus. We have the public resources and the public will even the bipartisan opportunities to strengthen Social Security and repair Medicare.
But this administration during eight years of increasing need did nothing.
They had their moment. They have not led. We will.
Our generation has a chance to reclaim some essential values to show we have grown up before we grow old.
But when the moment for leadership came, this administration did not teach our children, it disillusioned them.
They had their chance. They have not led. We will.
And now they come asking for another chance, another shot.
Our answer? Not this time. Not this year.
This is not a time for third chances, it is a time for new beginnings.
The rising generations of this country have our own appointment with greatness.
It does not rise or fall with the stock market. It cannot be bought with our wealth.
Greatness is found when American character and American courage overcome American challenges."

You said not enough judges were going to retire in the next President's term to make a difference. I pointed out all it takes is one.
No, judges do not have to be approved by a non-partisan committee.
I am well versed in the Constitution. Clearly more so than you. The Congress does not change Amendments. They can only pass new Amendments to amend the old ones. The Supreme Court interprets the Constitution and Amendments.

Rylan,
I see your still fighting the GOOD battle with the Sean Hannity pull string dolls. The doll that when you pull the string, it repeats the same 3 canned resposes it has, over and over and over again...
I already cast my early vote last week...

Instead of making petty and childish remarks about my mental health, how about you spend 30 seconds to do some research for yourself?
The questionaire I quoted where Obama wanted to ban handguns comes from his days when Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. A Chicago nonprofit, Independent Voters of Illinois questionaire asked the questions that I quoted.
How does me knowing facts and presenting them somehow equate to being unstable? I'll ask you the same thing I asked Rylan; Does it not bother you that those of us who oppose Obama know his positions and history on issues better than you do?

From Thomas Jefferson's Inaugural Address:
"Still one thing more, fellow-citizens—a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities."
We do not have a "wise and frugal" gov't.
Seems like Jefferson was against redistribution of wealth.
What say you Mr. Obama?

"economic justice"=Socialism
Now Obama wants to change the Constitution to give the govt more power?

Speaking of redistribution of wealth, has anyone else heard rumbling that 17billion dollars from the bail out is going to executives in the form of bonuses?

Therein lies your problem. You keep looking at the history. Comments that were made years ago. WHAT DID HE SAY TODAY. PEOPLE CHANGE THEIR MINDS. The only 'facts' you're spewing are your interpretations of snippets of conversations or quotes he made off the cuff. Why should I do the research? I'm calling YOU a liar. I say you're fabricating the entire gun control issue. Prove me wrong, and not with side quotes the guy made 6 years ago. PRESENT DAY POLICIES. If you can't show that, get over it.

I love it, in order to justify you voting for your candidate you have to totally ignore his actions, and listen to what he says on the stump. This is awesome! You people when confronted with facts have no argument, Your support is one of complete blind faith.

This last summer there were 36 people shot over 1 weekend. So I to would want something done about this if this was my city. No one is against a hunter's right to arms, or guns for home protection. What use do semi-auto and auto guns have in society? Why do people need an AR-15 besides that they are cool? or a 50 cal?
have you ever shot a 50 cal or an ar-15? have you ever shot a pistol? have you ever shot a gun?

In 1995, Texans got the right to carry concealed weapons if they obtained permits to do so. Since then, violent crime rates in the state have fallen.
Here are some of the statistics compiled by the Texas Department of Public Safety comparing crimes in 1995 to those in 1999.
* Per 100,000 population, rates for aggravated assault fell from 429.3 to 370.
* Robberies declined from a rate of 179.8 to 146.8.
* The ---- rate was down to 38.1 per 100,000 from 45.5.
* And murders fell from 9 per 100,000 to 6.1.
Since carrying a concealed weapon in the Lone Star State was legalized, overall violent crimes have declined from 644.2 per 100,000 to 561.
