Right or Not ???

and if you want to put words and opinions in God's mouth, think about this......close to 50% of pregnancies end in miscarriage in the first 4 months. many times, the women miscarry and don't even realize they're pregnant. so really, God aborts far more pregnancies than doctors do.
at least you beleive in God if you think I can put words in His mouth and that he "aborts" those babies

but thats where this always goes... we already have quotes from the bible in this thread... there are as many arguements one way as there is another... and we certainly are not going to make a defining decision here on SWF.com... when someone starts quoting the bible ther inlies another problem because some view that as a book of fiction... some say life begins at birth... some say at conception... there is no way youre going to change my views... nor will i yours...

well, the people who always quote the bible are the ones that seem to forget the part of the bible where God gives people free will to choose their own path to heaven or hell. if you want to think abortion is a sin, fine. but the bible does not say it is one person's place to legally mandate that another person cannot commit the sin. the point of the bible is to decide for yourself whether you go to heaven or hell, not having other people dictate how you live.

"Free will choice" in that you are correct and will never get an argument from me.
The bible and its teachings are for everyone who believes and has faith in Him. God loves all people so I love all people, it’s the sin that tears down and destroys. You do not have to believe anything that I believe but what I can tell you is the Lord has done some pretty amazing things in my life and because of that I know him to be the true and only God. I love to talk to people about my relationship with Jesus Christ not “My Religion” my opinions are based on what I believe is truth and your free will choice give you the option to believe what is not truth... lol or what ever you choose to believe. Imho I tell people I am not better then them I am just better off.
and just for the record why would anyone choose hell based on wht the Bible teaches?

the bible doesn't say one way or another that abortion is even a sin, so I don't believe having an abortion is going to send anyone to hell.

Yes and no... We are all sinners and "having an abortion" is not going to send you to hell.. Not believing in Jesus Christ now that’s another thread. But I disagree that the Bible does not teach abortion is a sin. It brings us back to when is a life a life? Then there that little thing called the 10 commandments that this country seems to base its morals on. I think is states something like thou shall not kill! You do believe there is a way things ought to be, don't you?

Should abortion be legalized or not?
Some say yes, some say no. To those that say no, I'd like to add that if your wife, girlfriend, or daughter was with child, and the doctor said that at some point that it had to be either your child OR your wife (let's say for reason of argument that it's a health issue). Which one do you save ?????
Just a simple question from a simple mind. :notsure:
hey indy this is fun ....thanks

For some reason, it irks the hell out of me when people have to bring religion and the bible into these conversations. This a work of pure fiction and religion is nothing more than a tool to promote fear, guilt and shame. How in the world can you have a relationship with someone who never existed? It's like saying I have a relationship with Zeus and I'd like to sit down and talk to you about it...wouldn't you like that?

That would also depend entirely on which version or part of the bible you are looking at. I was brought up Jewish and according to their beliefs, there is no hell.
