Try dripping them for a longer period of time. I generally drip all fish and snails for at least 2 hours.

i dripped my crabs for 2 hours like Subie said. I also feed them scraps of shrimp every other night, its like a feeding frenzy between the nassarius and hermits. im really careful about not overfeeding my fish, so i want to make sure the crabs get something to eat too.

Cut them at their base, closest to the rock that you can.

i wouldnt call that POS a frag tank .. all the upgrades that were on it was when i was running it as my regular tank before i got my 24 gal.. reason all those frags are in there was because i was rescaping the rocks..
i now have transferd all my corals back into the 24 and my "frag" tank is now a tank full of water and nothing in it -_- .. well unless the eggcrate counts.. haha
im going to use it when my corals grow out of hand i can chop them up and throw them into that tank ...
and yeah whisk ill check them out.. thanks brother.

i noticed a local reefer selling some frags again local and i always have to jump on those.. tank is getting pretty stocked with a whole bunch of ZOO's! I need to slow down and give these guys some time to grow now..
and im also very excited about my new black nemo..! I hope he doesnt bother my orange one, i dont know what the name of my orange one is but it was only like 15$ or so.. its MUCH smaller then the black one so i hope the get along and everything turns out fine.. if anyone can help me with the name of these guys that would be cool.. ill get pictures up tomorrow.. actually, no point.. i take it with my stupid iPhone and nothing really shows.. lol .. weel see if i get bored or what not.
Well time to go to bed, its 12:30 .. gatta be up in 4.5 hours.. OUCH =[

Hey guys, I have a quick question. I have a 24 gal AquaPod running MH (Sunpod) so i am sure my lighting is fine for an Aneneme.
However, i realllly dont know if i can have one.. being i have two clowns in my tank (orange/black) i would love if i can find a place for them to host.
My main concern is my Coral, i have spent a good 300$ or so on just little frags *ALLLLLLLLL on the bottom of the tank* and i would hate for the Aneneme to kill them all in the process of finding a good spot for his likings.
I do not have any crazy corals.. here is my specs..
I pretty much have all Zoas/mushrooms and they are all ont he bottom corners.

Please let me know what you guys think, if the aneneme will kill everything, OR.... i should be safe.. as you can see i have a big fat spot all ont he top of the tank taht is open.. next to the forgspwan but i can always re arange the frog.. i duno.. please convince me that i will be safe so my clowns can be happy!
BTW i know a lot of youi are goingt o say i shouldnt have a orange/black clwon together but being the orange clown is half the size of the black i have heard of plenty success stories..
convince me guys!! PLEASE!

Well first lets spell it correctly : Anemone.
just giving you a bad time.
I dont know much about them but NanoNewb just recently went through the same thing so i would ask him. you could always move some of your frags back to the frag tank until it settles and finds a spot. Especially the smaller ones. I think a big one like your frog spawn will be ok.
Also I think its worth mentioning there is a chance your clown may never host the anemone you put in. It's a gamble. I've seen clowns host other things besides anemones, such as xenia.

Haha just messin, anyhow.. yeah i know i have seen them host a lot of things.. i am assuming more then likely it will host the aneneme though.. my buddy whos tank is serously a wreckk.. his salinty as @ like 1.034 .. tap water.. never done a w ater change.. etc.. WRECK i tell you.. i seriously don't know how everything is alive?..
anyhow he got an anemone and that night it jumped right into it..
anyhow i was thinking about moving all my frags again back into my frag tank but what a headache.. im soooo not down to do that.. grrr..
i gguess if i see it raping my corals i will have too..
as far as knowing waht kind of clowns i have... i seriously have NO idea how to check waht kind they are..
..
ill tell you one thing, i have not once seen them chase each other, they have been together happily playing.

Anyways, You should be fine putting the anemone in. It might take a few days to find a spot, but i dont think it will ----
anything.. When you put it in try turning off the powerheads so it wont blow around and might find a good spot right then.. Worth a shot
