also i really want to add a SALLY LIGHTFOOT CRAB.. is that asking for trouble?

Have you noticed the clown playing in the frogspawn? Could just be some "burn" marks from that. It will be okay if that is all that it is.
Do some research on the arrow crab. Not something I would put into my tank.

Looking good man, also about you heat issue... Have you tried taking the heater out of back chambers and put in display tank? Maybe with it being more in the open it wont heat up water as fast... Worth a shot

hard for me to think of how moving a thermostatically controlled heater would make a difference.

bleh.. okay so today in the office i didnt turn the lights on at all.. left them as is and noticed the tank is set to a steady 77.2 and 77.8 *two different thermometers, different brands.. so im guessing its a .5 difference just from the dif thermometer.
NOW when i turn my lights on (which i didnt).. id say it will go up to about 81.5 at most.. do u think i should just make my tank ALWAYS set to 81 deg. (and hope it wont go higher then 81 once the lights kick in)
orrrrr grab a sledge hammer and break the ---- out of the tank.. LOL.. very annoying.. i dont want to put a fan up unless i get a DIY ATO to work correctly cuz right now its ridiculous to top off my water as much as im doing it.. (doesnt bug me topping it off).. it bugs me when i get back from my weekend and see that my water level has dropped 4 inches in the back chamber..
