never heard of this. i had some gasoline in a tank that got water in it. i knew it had water in it, but i didnt know how much. poured it in my lawnmower and it broke. i dont plan on putting water into gas tanks any time soon.

There have been water injection kits for larger enginies for quite some time. But they are hit and miss.
Suppossed to slow the burn and get more power from your fuel but it is tempermental and a pain to keep consistent.
On a carbed engine, air/fuel is sensitive, effected by weather conditions and altitude. Add another element to the mix and you have all the more to go wrong at peak rpm.

your right ...those dams just magically power themselves
The water itself is not powering the dams...their source of fuel is gravity. Water is not a fuel source. It takes more energy to break the bonds in a molecule than it does to put them back together.

hydrogen is fake! Steam is fake!
Those are both secondary energy sources that come from water, yes. But you have to put more energy in to create these sources than you actually get from them.

I work with a guy who is making his own hydrogen. It seems simple enough to do and trust me....it actually works. You electrically charge the water in a closed container, 2 lines in the cap. 1-lets air in and the other goes to the carburator. He's been kinda bench testing it to dial in the best combo of water volume and anodes. He'll fire it up and you can take a lighter and ignite the bubbles coming up. Simple and amazing.

If some one had a legit product out there that used water to run a car, he'd be richer than bill gates and all the arabs combined. Then you'd have "green people" flipping out because we are draining our oceans.

The car still uses conventional gas. The hydrogen supplements to actually help the gas burn better. It's increasing MPG. Do a google or youtube HHO.

I did google it. This is from Popular Mechanics.

Now I realise this guy is pretty hard on it, but he points out some valid points. However I am curious to what his test results are.
While I was goofing off at work, I ran across this too.

Notice how much hydrogen costs? 4 bucks will take you 40 miles... Imagine if we had 200 million cars on the road, how much more this will cost...

$4 for 40 miles....that's 40MPG at todays gas prices. Not too shabby if you ask me.

That is what I get with my honda now. And twice as much as gas was 2 years ago. Without very much demand, now I understand that at a developing product the prices will be high. However there is absolutely no demand for hydrogen at this time, when we have demand based on the vehicles on the road, those prices will go up from there...

Ya. But I do like the grassroots movement of LOTS of folks toying with their own little hydrogen generators. It's that kind of thinking that changes things.
Eventually one of these people are going to come up with something truly innovative. Lord knows, the oil companies aren't going to do it.

The hydrogen generators I speak of are under the hood of your car. They run off the battery in your car.
As far as power plants....we need more nuclear plants.
