i have a white ribbon eel hes really good and a good center piece of the tank everyone enjoys watchin him hes really active..... theres a good article about them in this months Aquarium Fish Magazine and how they are good reef eels.... mine has never eaten anything fish or invert and hes very easy to feed with a feeding stick..... also very hardy too.... ive had him for 2 years now and hes pretty much grown 5X's his original size....

yellow polyps also known as "Parazoanthus axinella" thats basically what they are called you had it right i always just called them yellow polyps also....
really hardy just like other zoo's the only thing i noticed is at first i have them too close to my encrusting xenias and they actually were stinging the xenias making them retract so i had to move them further away....

yeah the time and money thing lol :hilarious go hand in hand in this hobby.... i guess most hobbies in order to get better u have to invest time and patience then buy better equipment to get better results .... :jumping:
i really want to go bigger and get a 200+ gallon tank .... i think im going to do it within the next 6 months or so start it out slow and do it right buy a piece of equipment here and there that way i do it right.... :cheer:

i saw that and thought it was the coolest thing!!!
yeah a ribbon eel woould outgrow your tank fast but maybe u can try to find one of those yellow morays that would be cool
