Well, I got my gorilla crab out just now. I wish I could tell you is was a great hunt and he put up a good fight. But that was not the way it was at all.
I spoted him crusing on the rockwork in the open, grabed the net and covered him up. I used an acrylic rod and poped his shell which stunned him and I was able to flip him in the net and remove him.
I wish I could give you more help then that, but that is how I removed my gorilla. Good Luck.

Ughh sorry it took so long to respond been busy with stupid stuff. Yeah still havn't gotten mine out. Congratulations on the removal with yours though. I still have to find some surgical clamps, I think that is still my best bet.

Sidenote to anyone that can answer it or have any ideas, I've been noticing that my GSP closes up when my nite lights go on (which is completely normal behavior) but after an hour they open back up for a while, they usually stay closed till morning. Has anyone ever seen their own GSPs do this? Just thought it was kind of weird and I wanted to know why they would be doing that. Thanks!!

Well if two people say that then I'm guessing its a pretty normal thing.
Its going to be a while before I get anything else, but does anyone have any specific coral suggestions? Thanks in advance, I appreciate it?

Ok, so I'm definitley digging your pom pom crabs, are they rare and expensive? Did you mail order or pick it up at a LFS?
I'm starting to think maybe I'll get one or two of those and sexy shrimps, so far yours don't seem to pay attention to each other?

I opted for pom pom crabs too after reading this thread and a few other threads. My tank can only hold the one fish I have, and I want some more life besides my cleaner shrimp. Hope a pair of pom poms add some more character. I ordered mine from the LFS who had no inventory. I was quoted about $10 each for them.

I don't think the poms are rare, they are about ten to fifteen bucks like guy clown said. As for the poms and sexies interacting with each other, they pretty much leave eack other alone. Havn't seen any problems with them. Both are great! Glad to see that you'll be getting some

Yep sounds like a good price, and the little dance they do will definitely provide some character. Kinda looks like this

I have the same tank you do along with a 75g. I started my 75 in January of this year and the nano I got from a friend who couldn't take care of it anymore after he had it running for about 4 months. You've inspired me to start a tank diary. I'll put a link in here so you can see it when I do. Good job btw, and I started as a noob in January as well so it can be done without being an expert as long as you read a lot...lol.

Thanks! Its always great to hear people say good job and I'm glad I've inspired you. Get that diary up with some pics I gotta check it out and return the favor!
Yeah I'm slowly becoming less of a newb
but SOME
people on here are haters and go for the throat, but thats only been one person so far everyone else is really nice and VERY helpful. But yeah I'm doing great right now and can't wait for when I'm a few years down the line with more money
and more experience.
What do you have in your tanks right now?

Taco...your tank looks great. That being said, your future coral stock list looks like it could fill a 125! What are your plans when all these corals grow out/up? I have a 24 too and can' imagine all that....I also wanted "it all right now" but hesitated and boy am I glad I did. What I have has tripled its size and don't have room for anything(well maybe 1 more). But seriously, I think u need a bigger tank before acquiring a bigger garden! JMO

Thanks! Oh I definitely agree its a lot of stuff, I don't plan on getting it all thoguh, not at once. I hope to have all of that stuff by 2011 or 2012. Right now its just going to be zoo frags probably. Eventually I wan't to get a much bigger tank and even possibly a frag tank but thats way in the future. The stocklist I guess is just a wish list of things I want to get for sure, though I won't be getting most of it for a long time. I just want a little more variety and color, then I will let it fill in. Oh only if I hit the Michigan lottery
I would get a massive wall tank and probably a few more tanks.
Do you have a tank diary of your own?
