Well these guys are brand new, but I have another rainbow from a month or so ago and it's doing just fine. As long as your chemistry (cal/alk/mag) is OK, you should be just fine.

Sounds like just a normal SPS. I have a buncha frags now. Monti cap, birdsnest, 2 acros, and a millepora. The Mille, monti cap, and birdsnest are starting to take off and look great, where as one acro hasnt grown at all in 4 weeks, and the other acro has grown a little but has since started bleaching slowly. Ill just put it in a good spot and let it chill once I get it

Could just need a new location. Try to keep your alkalinity as high as you can. I had mine drop below 7 and a large monti started bleaching. My calcium stays up, but alkalinity drops so that's the part I'm now dosing.

I still have the blue favia but doubt that I'll be fragging it at all. I like it as a large coony like it is now. If you look at the full tank shot, you'll see it on top of a rock right above a large candy cane colony and below a large finger leather. Perfectly nestled in there :)

For a change I have a happy update. After losing a Yellow Belly Hippo in a QT after 8 days there, I now have been able to aquire a group of 5 fish from a local club reefer who took his larger tank down. He has all fist for over 2 yrs and they are healthy.
Here they are in a 5 gallon bucket being acclimated after the drive.
- Yellow Tang
- Hippo Tang (playing dead here)
- Female Bellus Angel
- Male Bartlett Anthias
- Blue Flavivertex Pseudochromis
These guys were already eating during acclimation. Hungry little fellows

Female Bellus Angel
I've already named her *Speedy Gonzales* because she is never still and I can't get a good picture of her.
Here we go anyways

Few more shots from today... these guys are hungry! The Yellow Tang is quite skinny and he sure has been eating all day long. I haven't done a lot of cleaning in the tank since I lost the other fish so there is plenty of good algae to eat. The YT seems to love picking the algae off the Tunze powerhead and the frag racks.
The Hippo Tang got his face peeled off pretty badly when we tried to get him out of a large piece of LR that he had wedged himself into.
Therefore he is now named *Scar Face*

I just got the pink chalice a month or so ago so it's now in my nano trying to grow some :) I'll let you know when I'm fragging it.

He only lasted 8 days in the QT. I'm pretty sure he came down with ick and possibly something else. He looked really bad in the final days of his life. I think it's the Yellow Belly Hippo thread that I started that has the pictures of him. I'm really glad that I didn't get both of the Hippo's in the QT. They'd both be dead

I love them! You can go to the famous a.u.c.t.i.o.n site and type in *frag rack* and you should see a few vendors come up.
The rack on the left side is by OceansWonders and it's the N50 (I love that one) and the one on the right is named *Magnetic Coral Frag Rack*.
