Sprung a leak :(

Most people laugh at me but I put air stones in all my sumps! I put one in my DT tank in my living room about 8 months ago and my wife said why are all the fish swimming more than they normally do! And she said they swimming all the way to the top! I have had most of these fish in this tank about 4 years! So I could tell a big difference!

Glad to see things coming together!
Ridem: you should start a build thread. I'd love to see your tank.

Eric B: I just got a few tanks! I love this fish stuff! I just found a tank on Craig's list 280 gallon 100 gallon sump skimmer lights 150lbs of live rock for $500 and its only about 8 miles from me! No stand! It's in a wall and he has the house sold told me he wants it gone! I might get it this weekend

My 2 pair of clown fish. I have a pair of Wyoming whites in another tank! I did all this with iPhone I guess that's why it's narrow!

Ridem32. Great info on your systems.
As Eric mentioned. Start a brand new thread so we can see more and you can give additional details. You are kind of hijacking Meowzer's " Sprung a Leak" thread.

WELL...I am sad to say I have lost 2 fish.....the coral beauty and the bi-color pseudochromis AND I have not seen the flame angel....I'm not gonna stir stuff up to look for it though....hopefully its is just hiding, and we will find it when we put the tank back together
YES, I have the powerheads pointed up for surface movement
I changed 1 1/2 gallons of water this morning, added a little amquel+ (JIC) and some stress marine
I have to work...LOL....don't we all
BUT when the guy calls me that he is on his way this afternoon....I will be on my way home
ALL equipment is cleaned and ready to go.............The corals actually look ok in the tote ...KNOCKING ON WOOD they stay that way
P.S.....THIS SUX BIG TIME

Sorry about your two fish. I realize that this "sux big time" but it gives you an opportunity to make some changes that you otherwise may not have made because of the inconvenience. In the very least you will have a reef ready tank that is easier to work on (reach the bottom).

Sorry about the loss. I agree with Eric B...it is an opportunity to fix anything you were unhappy with...always looking at the glass as half full is the only way to keep your sanity sometimes.

+1
It does suck big time. But I have to say that this is a great lesson on how to flip a huge tank.
Hopefully everything else makes it.

I actually agree with Gemmy, QT if you can.
Never had ich in my 155, but it showed up in my 180 with the same fish.

Thanks guys.....I am keeping my head up.....I am looking on the bright side as much as I can
new tank a +
shorter tank a +
drilled tank a +
Shallower sand bed a + ( I always hated my 4" deep bed)
redoing aquascape...mixed emotions....LOL....BUT YES....there are some things I would have liked to do differently, and now I can
SO glass half full....or half empty...either way we will get thru this

The shorter tank will make everything else worth it! My 155 was 30" tall. Hated it!!! We went with a shallower sand bed as well this time and its been a major plus.

You know....you learn as you go.....LOL
Hindsight.....I should have split the fish up in some of the totes....

Mine all went in one, I believe. I only separated my tangs because my hippo was mean and if she hurt my beloved naso, I would've probably fed her to the feral cats in my woods
