That's a possibilty, and would work great with the O/M "cotroling the flow" (giving it alternating direction)...
But for "phase one" (continous flow) I'd like to see some Loc-Line adjustable spreaders to be able to "manualy" adjust flow direction..At least on the two front top C/L returns....
The center rear S/F return could be clear though...
Know of an outlet for "clear" 90* and 45* elbows...??

Total.. 5 holes...5 bulkheads...2 overflows installed
With or with out Euro bracing...the other 3 "returns go OTT (over the top) and do not need holes or bulkheads...

Let's do it.........
With two overflows in each corner.
How big will the overflows need to be?

Two 4"X5" overflows will give you 18 linear inches of overflow "edge" and flow 1200gph...
And take up less tank "floor space" than the one 6"X9" that only flows 1000 gph would have...

Except, I'm going to suggest a 4"X6" with the drain hole "offset" to one side so a Durso Style standpipe can "loop" over and not be crowded...

This is a "quiet" effecient "standpipe design..
It "loops over" inside the overflow chamber and is not "visable...
Heres one in a HOB overflow box...(white pipe) ...
Yours would be "in" the in tank overflow without the clear "U" tube...

So we're all set on this..???
Euro Bracing, two overflows (about 4x6) 3 holes in back for C/L, OTT with S/F return and 2 C/L outlets...??
Acrylic51...I don't have specs on schd 80 bulkheads..I need the O.D. of the flange and washer on a 1" bulkhead to make sure it "clears" in the overflow...

Well we're "almost" to page 11....:D
The "back" view has not changed...with the "exception if the "hole" sizes for schd 80 bulkheads...if you go that route...
Tom will know what size drill to use if you tell him you want schd 80 stuff..
You still want one 1 1/2" bulkhead in center and two 1" bulkheads lower corners...
