The stand will be atleast 34"H and no higher then 36".
The "L" of the stand will be 50-52"L.
"W" will be 19-21".
I've given 2" on every measurment to make sure the 75g (48 1/2Lx21Hx18 1/2W) will fit.
What ever the least amount of inches around that will fit the 75g that's what we will go with.
We will be building removable side cabinets on rollers. That way if we need to get behind the tank we can. Also there will be 2 side doors on the tank stand itself for easier maintence.

OK last "pic was a "Top View" of the S/F...
Let's see what it looks like from the "side"...
We have 28"x18"x18" for the FUGE so that "Baffle" is 18" tall...
Then we want to "reserve" 10 gallons or so for "back wash" during powerout...(Gray area) 20"x18"x6" ....So Our "Tallest" baffle in the Skimmer return area can be 14"...
The Skimmer needs to run in 7"to 10" >stable< water so we'll have to "lift it up" on an "Egg Crate" stand..to keep it at a "runable" level...(dark Blue "Skimmer" chamber)

Let's go back to the "Top" View...
We "fit" the skimmer into the 11"X13" "footprint" needed for the ASM skimmer (actual sizing will be +1/2" or so..this is just for "layout" purposes)
That leaves 5" of the 11" Overflow/Skimmer chamber...for the "Overflow Drain Chamber...
That we want to "catch" the water coming down from the tank and allow the bubbles to rise and the deitrus to "settle out" before hitting the skimmer...
So that "dividing baffle" will be set 1" up from the bottom ...to allow raw tank water to flow "up from under skimmer , which is "sitting on eggcrate "shelf'...

Looking at the "end" of the S/F at the overflow /skmmer chamber...
We see the drain pipe only an inch or so in the overflow chamber...
The "eggcrate" shelf for the Skimmer and the "flow" through the skimmer chamber, past the pmp and towards the return chamber...
Little glass "shelves' hold the eggcrate up and are easy to silicone in place...
There is also a 'cut out" in the Of/S chamber to the R.P. chamber and that is also an easy 'cut" for a glass shop....

Is that the middle peice under the egg crate? That also holds the crate up correct. I mean more support?

No, It's actually the vertcle "baffle" between the Overflow/Skimmer chamber {Of/S} and the Return Pump Chamber {R.P.}
The cut out is the "square" in the upper left corner...It sets the skimmer chamber water level , but allows the overflow chamber to go higher...
There is a reason I placed it there and we;ll get to that "shortly"...
(I'm going to call it "B." because it's the second one you'll put in as you build, and I'll start "lableing" them now as we can, so we can refer to them as "A, C, D, Z, etc...)

Ok..ok...?
Let's make baffle "A" between fuge an RP chamber 19" tall with an 18" "cut out" as well...
