rightt, i went to the LFS today, and decided i wanted to change the stocklist.
i know im asking alot of questions but i just wanna make sure compatibility is 100%.
no is this too much for a 130g?:
1x blueface
1x emp
2x blue jaw trigs
1x clown trig
1x pinktail trig
1x niger trig
2x maroons
1x eel (dno wat one yet, SFE or zebra)
1x cleaner wrass
i was looking around and noticed how much i love triggers, and i'd rather have triggers then a lion.
but obv. thats a fair few fish and writing it out it looks like it could be too much, everything will be juvi. when i buy, and they will get put into a 8' tank in about 3 years. but still, is that way to much?
if it is wat should i take out?

too much then i guess? lol
Yes. IMO, only one angel, and thin out the triggers.
Post that list in the fish only section and see what answers you get. I'd be interested to see what people who own these fish have to say about that stock list. Are you set on doing two maroons? IMO, the female gets even more aggressive this way, you may want to stick with just one (yes it will be a female, but not a mated pair). You may also want to rethink the Clown trigger, they're a PITA, really mean fish.
Anyways, as for the blueface that your mom got you. How big is it again? If it's a juvi you might
be okay until your new tank is ready. You know their food requirements and all, right?
Do you feed your fish vitamins with their food? If you don't, I suggest you start doing so, especially since you now own an angel again. Boyd's make a good one and I'm pretty sure it has sponge extract that will help the angel.

yeh ok, i will change the stocklist around abit,
its not a juvi, its about 4", i'll get it into the 25g as soon as poss, and i've got some angel formula made for angels lols, hint in the name, but it has got sponges wich i know angels need, and i recently trying to feed the fish pellets, but the chrmois are pecking at them, but the angel wont go near it, it's only eating very little, lil bit of algae sheet, and the tiniest cube of the angel formula, wont go near the pellets, and i've tried a baby goldfish from my pond wich breed like nobody's business and its not going near it.
i dont add anything to their food, should i start? i just feed them the stuff made for marine fish, i thought they had sufficient vitamins,
and from top of my head now, another re-think of the stocklist could be:
1x blueface angel
2x blue jaw triggers
1x pinktail trig
1x female maroon
1x zebra eel
1x cleaner wrass
1x foxface rabbitfish

Probably isn't going to touch the goldfish. It should be okay in the 25. Just keep an eye on it as the tank really is too small and it can become easily stressed. Keep the temp in this tank a little higher to help her out as well as a lower salinity (1.019 - 1.021). It's probably still acclimating so it probably won't eat much. I'm not a huge fan of flake and pellet food. There's a lot of garbage mixed into that stuff and it's just very unnatural, IMO. I will not add pellet or flake to my tank.
i dont add anything to their food, should i start? i just feed them the stuff made for marine fish, i thought they had sufficient vitamins, Yes, I never used to, but I've noticed a huge difference. The colors are more vibrant on my fish and they just look healthier. Also, since this fish is a juvi and still growing, the vitamins will help. You're also keeping this fish in a small environment for awhile and I really think that vitamins will go a long way in keeping it healthy.
and from top of my head now, another re-think of the stocklist could be:
1x blueface angel
2x blue jaw triggers
1x pinktail trig
1x female maroon
1x zebra eel
1x cleaner wrass
1x foxface rabbitfish
Honestly, post the list in the FO section. I'm a reefer so I don't want to guide you in the wrong direction here.

I prefer Boyd's Vita Chem Marine Formula. It has a little more protein AND sponge extract than some of the others in my LFS have.
I'd still consider it a juvi, or a very young adult at that size. It's going to eat like a pig at that size so get ready! LOL
Just curious, what happened to the sailfin idea?

i still want one, but im wondering if it'll get bullied with 3 triggers in there.
i posted the stocklist in aggresive fish and i'll see wat them people say.
yehh the angel formula stuff i have is made specificly for angels, so its got good amount of sponges in it, and its like 15% protein. made by like ocean nutrient or something?
when i can get him to eat it im sure it'll be fine:D, but for the process of getting him to eat, wat shall i feed him?

he's been in like 12 hours. i will do soon, im going to a party in a bit, not looking forward to it considering i dont drink, but i promised my step-brother i'll come with him lols, when i get back i'll try it. people commented on the stocklist said it was good, cryptkeeper said he loved it, and i'll give the sailfin a go, the blue jaws arent generally aggresive, nor are the pinktails, out the two, the pinktail will be the boss, but im sure the sailfin'll be fine, only thing someone commented on, is that the zebra moray is a bad choice because it isnt very outgoing, so im going to look for another large(ish) eel that'll be nice:D any suggestions?

Larger eels are always a risk with fish. How about a snowflake or ribbon? They seem to be more outgoing. If CryptKeeper likes the list, you're good to go. What was the ultimate list you went with?

Yea, and in the unlikely event that they decide to breed in that tank they will become extremely aggressive. Maroons have been known to draw blood when people try putting their hands in the tank of a breeding pair.
They are also extremely protective of their anem's

ok now the blueface is gone im abit annoyed:( but it happens and i'll have to just take it on the chin.
i went back to the LFS where i got it today and noticed one of the angels it was sharing a tank with had a cist. think this could have had an affect on its death?
also
bluejaws plus lion instead of bluejaws plus pinktail.
would that be a bad idea? i REALLY want a lion, but also a type of trigger lols.
just soo hard choosing, so i thought maybeee the least aggresive trigger, could be ok?
also, the tanks 24" high, probably 23" will be full of water. sooo, i wanna get 2 LR mounds, like 2 humps and then alot of swimming space, i will make some skeletons for the mounds so there hollow so fish can hide in them. maybe make say 3 caves per mound so every fish can have a place to stay. so these mounds will be maybe 12" tall, wat sort of lighting will i need to stick an anemone on the top? for the maroons.
obv i wont get the anemone till next year. i wanna make my 10g a pistol/goby and clown anemone. soo in about 4 months i'll add a anemone there, probs a RBTA, then when that splits, i'll add the product into the 130g.
saves me spending a fair bit on another RBTA.
so as far as the stocklist is concerned. the changes i want to make are small, but if i cant do it i'll stick to the one before:
1x angel (not sure which one now, open to suggestions)
1x volitans lionfish
2x blue throat triggers
1x cleaner wrasse
1x maroon clown
1x foxface rabbitfish
1x sailfin tang.
1x eel
sound good?

right right right. Stocklist going in a different direction now.
i went to the LFS today and they got a new frogfish in, so i bought it:D
i dno wat type it is, its brown, about 6"long and will only grow about another 1", they said it was put in with a rabbitfish but as soon as it went in it ate the rabbit fish lols, so its probs gna get the chromis when its in the DT.
i will get some pics tomorrow if someone wats to ID it for me? :D
sooo now im thinking for a stocklist issS:
1x Frogfish
1x Volitans lion
1x sohal tang
1x sailfin (if i can find one big enough to stay alive from the frogfish)
1x ribbon eel
1x large angel (will buy it big enough to not get scoffed also)
also, am i right in saying the black ribbon eel, is just a juvi blue ribbon eel?
or are they different species?
