Just wanted to give a little update, since I added a bunch of creatures yesterday. The wrasse seems to be doing very well, he is very amusing to watch. He can swim very fast, but a lot of times hovers right near rocks and then just kind of picks at them. Maybe he is going after small pods, haven't seen him go after bristleworms or anything yet
He did eat some frozen brine shrimp yesterday and I do know that that is a good sign! The zoas were nice and opened up today, but then I took them off the plugs that they came on and glued them to a piece of live rock, I think it looks so much better
All in all, tank seems to be doing very well, although I do still have some hair algae. I think I will really try and siphon a lot of it out on Sat, which is when I do my water changes. Water is crystal clear, thanks in part I think to the purigen and the chemi-pure elite that I run. The fuge that I currently have set-up in chamber 2 is going through some changes. I removed the light on the back of chamber 2, actually it removed itself, the light was heating up the glue on the backside of the velcro and just wouldn't hold up the light anymore. So after doing some research I found a nice submersible 10 watt light that I will put back there. I will run it when my moonlights are on, reverse of daytime lights. Even without much light back there for the time being the chaeto still looks healthy, and a lot of pods are back there
The new fuge light should hopefully be here this week. I think thats all that is new, comments are always appreciated.

As requested, I know the pics arent the best, I really can't zoom in much with my camera or the focus goes to crap so, this is what I got.

Do keep in mind, the zoas are just beginning to open again, they stay closed for awhile after I glued them to the rock!

Wow, good thing I got home early today. I was looking in my tank and didn't see my wrasse. I open the top and look in the back chambers, and sure enough there he is in my drip tray swimming in what was probably a 1/2 inch of water
Freaked me out some, I of course put him back in the display area. Anyone know how I can put a fence up or something to keep everyone in the front of the tank. I hope he is ok, he seems to be swimming around and everything so

Well I made it to the LFS today and scored some good deals on live rock. I am still reaquascaping, but this should give you a good idea what I am going for. As far as live rock I now have 14 pounds in the display and 2 pounds of rubble in the fuge. I think it should be enough
Here are some pics, everything is still kinda settling as I managed to stir everything up really well.

if you add live rock to your display without cureing it first you might have another cycle......this was a mistake i made i only added about 3-4 pounds of rokc and it still spiked and killed my clown and my royal gramma....but it looks awesome you will have alot of flat space to put corals

This rock was fully cured and I took a bucket full of my old sw just to make sure it would go directly from their huge tanks of lr, right into my bucket and then directly into my tank. I really shouldn't have very much die off at all. Thanks for the advice though, but for once I was thinking ahead.

Man, I am so bored right now. The gf is mad at me and my tank has the moonlights on, so not much activity
Anybody have any comments or suggestions with the tank. I am out of money right now, so it is a good time to let things go for awhile and let the tank mature some. Next thing I want to add is some nice coral, I really want some frogspawn or torch next
I love the look of them. Anyhow hope everyone is having a better night than me.

I'm feelin' the aquascape, looks nice. I just re-arranged mine a bit. You plan on adding a clown pair or no? and what kind of coral do you want in the future?

Chronic, to be honest, I used your tank as a plan for my rock. Not sure if they ended up looking similar, but I really like yours

I am going to eventually add a onyx clown pair, the damsel will come out one way or another
As far as coral my favorites would have to be frogspawn, brain, war, torch, hammer, acans and really nice zoas. I know a big list, but hey I like to dream

Thanks. You can have all of them, I would just add them slowly. I also really wan't to find some nice acans...I am heading to my LFS monday to look for a nice clam :) then I'm getting my tattoo!! heh. The Onyx clowns will be nice I can't wait to see the tank stocked up.
