There was someone in Pt.Monmouth that wanted to give me a 125gal.tank but I did'nt have a place to put it

well heres an update. tank has got to be broken down. i came home from work and my 55g sump sprung a leak. and the only way to get the tank out of the stand is to remove the top tank. thats right break down the 125.
since i have that option of breakin down the tank i am getting it drille. i will have two1" drains with returns running over the top of the tank. i also added a ETSS reef devil delux to the sump. along with a new 55g tank for the sump i will be adding better bubble trap baffles. i am removeing the four powerheads i have in the tank and replacing them with two Hydor Koralia #3. i am also upgrading the the sump pump from a Mag12 to a Mag18. so with this flow i should be looking at about a 24x turnover rate. wich is good for me only keeping LPS and softies.

heres a current stock list of what i have:
FISH:
2 Blue devil damsels (going to friends aggresive tank)
1 Yellow damsel (going to friends aggresive tank)
1 Four stripe damsel (going to friends aggresive tank)
2 Engineer gobys
3 Clown fish (true perc. false perc. tom.)
3 Blue green chromis
CORAL:
Teal devil hand leather with brown polyps
2 different kinds of xenia
4 different shrooms
15 different zoo
Many many many feathers dusters on live rock.
Kenya tree
the fish, corals, and frags are going into the 20L frag tank. i was setting up the tank and then the sump sprang a leak. so it worked out good. good thing i use most of the water from the DT to get the frag tank up and running. i will post pics of what i have but the frag tank is too cloudy to do anything with.
if anyone can tell me with the tank being 6' long. with the two koralia #3(850gph/each) and then say about 1300gph return from the sump. should i just go with two koralia #4 instead of the #3's.

the sand, live rubble rock, and macro algea from the sump are in a tote, the 200lbs of live rock are in a huge tote, the coral and fish are in another tote. for now of course.
sorry have to add. i am going to be changing my fuge lights from two 25w 50/50 bulbs to two 25w 6500k bulbs. they are in a double bulb light fixture with a reflector that i shined up nice.

now a quick description of the frag tank.
20L all glass aquarium
Custom made stand and canopy
Custom made frag shelf
Seaclone 150
Hang-on fuge (18"Lx12"Hx3"wide)
13w 6500K compact light for hang-on fuge
Heater
Two Maxi-Jet 1200
150w of VHO
Basically a dusting for a sand bed.
Put some base rock with some tonga live rock. so all rock is live by now.
Two 24 LED lunar lights
The baffles for the hang-on fuge are 7.5" tall. so i am going with a 3.5-4" DSB along with some macro, and some fiji+tonga live rubble rock.

its funny when you keep upgrading your stuff you have alot of extra things. mainly power heads.
tote with coral: 100gph powerhead
tote with live rock: 1000gph in powerheads
tote with things from the 55g fuge: 200gph in powerheads
crazy how that works and i still have 3 other 600gph powerheads. lots of extension cords and heaters. two extra double bulbs strip lights. crazyness

I have a 6' tank and I have two Koralia #3s. I believe I am maxed out with places I can stick my soft and LPS coral as the other empty spots in my tank have to high of a flow area for them, so I'm saving those spots for my future SPS. For my tank the #4s would be to much flow.

Then I would definitely not go with #4 Koralias, you probably find it's just to much flow for your soft and LPS corals. I do have 4 LOC lines coming in as well, though because the flow is split four ways it's not as strong as if it were just two. So I have LOTS of flow in my tank, no dead spots to speak of. This picture shows both my powerheads (Koralia #3s) and the LOC lines. Even the middle of my tank has really good flow.

funny your tank is exactly what i wanted. i will have two returns coming over the back and will split them each with two loc-lines and the koralia's. i was also thinkin about pointing two of the loc-line returns behind the rock also. eerie feeling its like you knew what i was thinkin.
i noticed you have the two koralia pointing up and toward the middle of the tank. am i rite.

Great minds think alike.
Yes, both my Koralias are toward the back pointing toward the center of my front glass. I have the one on the left a little lower, so that I can keep it going even when I do my water changes. (The other I have to turn off because the water line goes below it.) I only have the left one pointed up slightly but even still, because of the larger flow these Koralias have, the surface of my water is being moved around a lot. It's worked out great.

Well I hope no guy has "gal" in his name.
But yes, I'm a girl, don't hold that against me though.
I have two 250W 14K MHs with Mini Lumenarc Reflectors (LOVE THEM!). Because I'm using the Lumenarc reflectors I only need two lights. So that means less heat, less electricity, and less money.
The pictures actually make my tank look more blue than it really is. I have a friend that's a professional photographer and she's going to come over soon and take some pics of my tank. So keep an eye on my diary because I'll be sure to post them as soon as I have them. You can also see on my diary how they are mounted. My husband did a great job.

Like I said, look at my diary (I have a canopy too). Both my lights are retro kits and I got them $530, that included the bulbs, sockets, reflectors and ballasts (even shipping).
