Perhaps he should have declined the opportunity to help those less fortunuate because of what someone else who is on the board did when he was 8 years old...what a joke.

I could not be in the same room as Ayers. He hates this country and his "resume" proves it. If he came out and said he was sorry, and WRONG for his bombings, and wishing he'd doen more, then maybe I would respect him a little.

I think he is a pretty smart guy. He has the best chance of anyone in history to become the first black president. That in and of itself, deserves some credit. Why is it when someone writes a great song or makes a great peice of art they are known for being a genius, but because Obama has some different viewponts and he is a great public speaker he is manipulative and evil. I want someone, anyone on here to have some solid proof of something that he personally has done that is truly evil or wrong. All I ever see is speculation on what people he is friends with have done and that he could possibly feel or believe or what they kind of suppose his motives are.......not one person on here has come up with any proof. I wish people would just be a little more open minded and do some darn research and not assume things. It is getting a little old. And for the record, the same goes for McCain. Don't just assume he is evil or great without having some solid proof.

If he hates this country so much then why does he participate in groups such as the Woods Fund board? If he truly hated this country he wouldn't lift a finger to help the people of our country...or do you think he has an alteria motive?

No.
A brilliant man couldn't go to church under "rev" Wright for over 20 years and then admit he'd never heard an inflammatory sermon before.
A good community organizer wouldn't work with the likes of Ayers.

The brilliant part is that millions believe him, and still think he's brilliant!
Doesn't that quality for brilliance? I think it does.

Their paths to power do have a striking similarity.

Since you seem to know so much about his policies can you please explain to the class in more detail his tax plan and how he is going to add more taxes to the middle class and upper middle class? Also, tell us what you know about his other policies and plans?
Without telling you what tax bracket I'm in, I would pay "on average" $7859 per year more in taxes if Obama were President vs. McCain. Good enough for you?? Look it up if you need to.
Don't like wishy washy Obama's view on the surge.
Obama is a rank and file Democrat whom never crosses party lines, unlike McCain. His record in the Senate is rather boring IMO, he has done nothing of interest whatsoever, unless "Co" sponsoring bills does anything for you.
Don't like Obama's Idealistic and unrealistic Healthcare plan. McCain wants to restore control to the patients, Obama wants the government to control it....Yikes
What do you want me to do go down the list...Energy, Defense, Education, Immigration, Senate Reform.....Again, I am closing out my work day here, but basically Obama wants to blame everything he can on Bush and the Republicans, even though the Dems control the Congress

Ok that's two. I'm invoking Godwin's law.
And so I don't sound like an idealistic commie myself, I think this question is about what scares you more:
The fact that Obama is a socialist who would waste billions of taxpayers money in bloated social programs, or
The fact that McCain would be the oldest first-term president, with almost-Miss Alaska as back-up.
Where's Ross Perot and Ralph Nader when you need them?

I'm invoking Washington"s (among others) law Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech
, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

To point out the dangers of electing an unknown and unproven person to a position of power and that it is risky business is perfectly acceptable. Californians found that out with Jerry Brown and the rest of the nation with Jimmy Carter.
After the way the libs have treated Bush or even Sarah Palin I could airbrush a little mustache on Obama and refer to him as Obitler while staying well within the guidelines the Democrat party has set.

LOL, do you really think poor caribou barbie has been treated that poorly? It would seem most of what's been presented about her has been spot on. Guidelines, I think the McCain camp lost their glasses cus they aren't even close...kind of like when grampy gets behind the wheel he's all over the road

Actually, can he even drive? If he can't use a computer because of his injuries he probably can't drive...

If your name is Barack you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.
Name your kids Willow , Trig and Track, you're a maverick.
Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.
Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well grounded.
If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.
If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people,
then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive.
If you have been married to the same woman for 15 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real Christian.
If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a Christian.
If you teach responsible, age appropriate --- education, including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.
If, while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in --- education in your state's school system while your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant, you're very responsible.
If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values don't represent America 's.
If you're husband is nicknamed "First Dude," with at least one DUI conviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote until age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable."
