So by writing them in Greek they'd have greater influence over a much farther reaching realm, as opposed to Latin or Hebrew? So by this deduction, they were actively pushing their religion over a wide spread area and wouldn't embellishing tales of the messiah help push the cult/religion?
I am confused; if he gave them permission why wait to an old age? Wouldn't a person of his magnitude take precedence?
