You said you were looking for rare beautiful triggers. There is a Super Rare Large West African Blue Spotted Triggerfish for sale on the 2 Doctors site. It looks georgeous and is $450.00 and 6 1/4 inches

That's what he said he already picked up. Another common name, for them, is the Golden Heart Trigger.
That's the one we were talking about, when I said they hadn't been imported for over 10 years.
$450 is a little overpriced, tho. There's another site selling them for $250.

When are your proposed upgrades coming?
Purchasing a Titan Trigger and pretty much a horrible, horrible idea. Scrap your other upgrades and plan on a 1500gal+ display.

really i have a friend with an 800g if i want its already mine if i want it he is holding it for me but i ant fit it into my house. Fastazzr1 is getting his tank built as we speak its gonna be 550g or close to it. Thats why nim gonna let him get a titian first to see how they are.

Combine those two tanks and it still wouldn't be big enough, unfortunately.
Notice the diver, directly on the other side of the Titan? That's how big these fish get.

Im not trying to be an azz but how long do you think it gonna take that titian fish to get that size. i just dont believe in a home aqurium that it will grow that large enven in 10 years. but thats just my opion on that. I think when i talk about triggers you are thinking the wild. they eat more in the wild and the body of water is a thousand times larger. just asking thou i might be wrong.

I have a long reponse to this but I'll save it....Seriously, you guys need to get in contact with some wet-web gurus and ask some questions; maybe you'll take their advice. You ask a question, don't like the answer, and do what you please anyway. This is not a flame by no means, but soon people won't waste the time in responding to your questions. Good luck in your endeavors

You're making the assumption and believing in the myth that fish wont grow to their "wild" adult size, in the home aquaria...that's completely, 100% INCORRECT. The reason you don't see large, adult fish is because the conditions they're kept in are not suitable and most succumb to disease and/or stress, before they reach that size.
All species of Trigger grow quickly. It's very common to have large, adult fish within 2 years, if given proper environment.
You're spending an enormous amount of money, to buy these expensive fish. What's gonna happen if we're all correct and you end up losing them all, because you and your friend wouldn't listen? It may be just me, but if that happened to me, I'd be sick.
Not to beat a dead horse, but most of us that have given advice have the experiance with these fish and are giving good, solid advice. Not only do we NOT want to see you waste this money, but more than that, we don't want to see the fish get killed for no reason.
Keeping fish is just the same as keeping any other pet. You're to provide proper habitat, varied diet and good, ethical care. With the size tank you have and with the stock list you currently have (and what else you want to add), you're just not providing that adequate environment.

thats fine like i said i dont mind advice, and the last questions were not flames . I have always been told by my lfs and other lfs and i have seen in some book that fishe will never reach their normal adult size in an home aquium. but maybe ive been mislead. ive havd fish for 5 years, they got very large but i dont think they were at their max to what they were supposed to be in the "wild" natural enviroment. But thanks for all. is there another website i can go on to enhance my knowledge of the marine animals i have grown to love and acquire.
