Super Bowls is all that counts and for that matter, it should really only be after the merger in 70'. Before that it wasnt really the NFL, now was it?? Dont get all excited about some win over canton bulldogs in 1930

By the way, all the Cowboys title have been during my lifetime. Find me some Green Bay fans that can say that

I don't think there is any denying that the Cowboys have some serious talent. DeMarcus Ware is awesome, and I really like Newman, Henry, Bradie James, Roy, Julius, Barber, Romo, and Whitten, to name a few.
With that said, there is no denying that Cadillac Williams is a talented runner. He would be great if he had some players on his team. How are you supposed to deceive anyone when you have a young Gradkowski at QB? I like Gradkowski, but the guy is going to need time to develop. Romo needed 4 years and look at Romo now. I personally think Joey Galloway is a loser. I have never liked the guy.
I don't see why everyone has to bicker over this. Subjectivity will solve nothing. (As a side note, I only closed the Eli thread because I would prefer not to have 10 football threads cluttering up the boards.)

I love the Saw series. The new one was good, but it was much more gore than the first two. I just saw it two weeks ago.

Only some fantasy hacks would make that selection..but nfl GM;s are concerned with the present and future..as opposed to somone that may simply be a flash in a season.
Romo is far from a flash in the season out of nowhere. He has been on the team for 4 years and played extensively in the preseasons, not just this year. Granted that doesnt mean much but he has seen a decent amount of action much less 4 training camps. That is alot of work and experience. The biggest thing is the Cowboys giving him an extension in preseason. To give a undrafted free agent who has never played a down in his career $4 million dollars said alot to me. If they didnt think VERY good things about him they never would have gave him that money as an extension. There was a decent chance he didnt play a down this year. That money said that they knew he would be the starter by at worst next year and that they thought he could be the future. They wouldnt have given him that money without having alot of faith in his ability and potential.
They may end up wrong but it sure doesnt look like it so far!

Really I heard it Ties into the first one and abondons the second one. I dont mind the gore as long as a good story line comes along with it. I gotta see it I think it is at the Drive ins right now. I cant beleive it was only out for 2 and a half weeks

If hits DVD before christman then I dont mind that it allready left the theatre Ill just watch it on my 9 foot DLP. I ussually wait for everything to come out on DVD the only movies i couldnt wait for were Dead Mans Chest, Narnia, and Lady in the Water (which i have my own mixed reviews about) gotta love Paul Giamatti though... great actor ever since he played the part of SCHMEE! in Hook

All championships are won in the era they are played and count. Green bay has 12.

How was Lady in the Water, Oceanists? I have heard conflicting things about that movie.
Saw III was definitely more tied into the first movie than the second.

Gruden Critical Of Report He's Putting Out Feelers For Jobs
by: Roy Cummings
Published: Nov 20, 2006
TAMPA - Bucs coach Jon Gruden responded angrily to a report in Sunday's Tampa Tribune that said he is actively seeking work elsewhere and could wind up coaching the Dallas Cowboys in 2007.
"Whoever wrote that story is an idiot," Gruden said after the Bucs' 20-17 victory against the Redskins. "I'm committed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; it's the only job I've ever wanted."
Gruden's remarks came in response to a column written by Ira Kaufman, who covers the NFL for the Tribune and quoted an NFL source who said it's possible that Gruden could leave the Bucs before his contract expires in 2008.

Lady in the water was made out to be scary in the comercials but was more of a an adult Narnia with some thriller parts in it. Paul Giamatti played a great part in it proving to me that he should be in way more movies than he is in. It was more of a Fantasy than anything it was based on a Japanese children story with a character called a "narf" I will deffinately watch it again. I just expected it to be a horror with the press that it got

I think Parcells is gonna be back. Which I dont mind as long as we reach the playoffs this year.
