What exactly is God's plan?

Those are the two best choices. Mossberg probably has more options. I'd just get a standard stock with the shortest barrel available.
That's exactly what I was planning. Either an 18 or 18.5 inch barrel.

I have a sawed off pistol grip piece I want to try to find a full butt stock for. My wife wouldn't even think about trying to shoot this thing. Sad thing is it's an old springfield 12 gauge. Probably had collector value until it was butchered.

So should you have to justify why you belong to a religion? People who own "Machine guns" don't worry me in the least because the licensing regulations to own one in the few states that allow it is so stringent. If you read the federalist papers one of the reasons they included the second amendment is an armed populous was seen as a check on a tyrannical government.
It's the one's who own the "not so legal" machine guns are the one's you need to worry about...

For all the crap they show in the movies with bangers using full autos I don't remember the last time I heard of a crime committed with one. I've shot one. The military went to a 3 round burst for a good reason, lot more useful

Fully auto is overrated and an inefficient way to use your ammo. It drops the accuracy of the weapon significantly, so even though you're shooting more bullets per second, it's unlikely you're hitting your target with any more precision (more often than not missing completely) than you would by simply squeezing the rounds off manually at around a second at a time.

So, it might actually save more lives to have fully automatic weapons legal and semi auto's under tight restriction instead....
