I don't know...just throwing ideas out. What are the dimensions of your tank? I'm not sure what the green actually does in way of bringing out colors. I see more red used than anything but looking at the spectrum range the greens put out they may be slightly benefitial for photosynthesis.
Thats what I am going for, growth and color. It's going over a picotope (3g) No red though because i think it will make it look 8k-10k and the green should make it 16k
I have 2 rows that i can put the LEDs on.

Sorry for the cheap ebay link but I'm just using it for demonstration purposes but take a look at this bulb. I can't tell if one of the bulbs is red or orange but maybe you could go with one of these types of bulbs for your pico. It would be super simple to just hang a pendant light over the tank.

Ya i know those Corey, But the point of this build is to get used to making LED light fixtures so i have some experience working with LEDs.
In the near future I plan on making a couple frag tanks and I want them lit with LEDs and this will give me some experience so when I make the frag tanks I am not completely clueless as what to do.

Isn't the mix on B's to W's 2:1 ratio now a day?

yea, it gives like 16k lighting i think, or 20k. I don't want 20k (to blue).
