Jerth lol i was gonna say i didnt see one but i didnt wanna come off like a jerk. We all know something about something lol! Wish i learned more in school myself. Should have even went to college, but now i go to work everyday...even the weekends. I feel like i live at work!

The wife and I at a wedding last summer. I kinda had a Clark Kent thing going on with the hair. I used to work at a large bank and wore a tie everyday. My new job is super casual, so no more tie, just at weddings and funerals. Kinda miss it..... No, I take that back.

The south end of O'side touches the north end of Carlsbad. I actually live in Vista. We moved 3 blocks a couple years ago. It moved us to the other side of the city limit sign. Vista touches both Carlsbad and Oceanside. Where the three meet is commonly referred to as the Tr-City area.
Many people have heard of Switchfoot. They are from Carlsbad. They still play occasionally at the church where Jon's dad pastors. The movies Top Gun and To Save a Life were both filmed in O'side.

Oceanside, right on. I lived out there and I went to Lincoln Jr. High. Moved to MI just as I was starting high school. I remember the old carlsbad caverns and cliff diving. Fun times. My old man was stationed at Mirimar (top gun). Used to take me as a kid and let me sit in the flight simulators.

yip..... I know right where your at. I went to Carlsbad high. Surfed at the cardiff by the sea, and lived at the top of Tamarack Ave. Then we moved to Vista where my lil brother went to Vista high. Oh that was, and I'm sure it still is, beautiful territory. Sure miss it. I was stationed at Mirimar when it belonged to the Navy. Still miss those planes!! How did I get to god for sakken Indiana again? Oh..... I remember now....... the future wife was calling me!!!!

I followed my wife out here from Missouri. We really don't want to move back. Do you make it out here often?
BTW, the ordnance at Camp Pendleton is a nice reminder of the guys and gals dodging bullets and IEDs for me. It's shaking the house and rattling windows tonight. I'm about 5 miles or so from Pendleton.

OMGOSH I DON'T miss that tho...... While at Mirimar I lived in Poway. I need to get out there tho. My mom lives in fallbrook now. she's rather pissy cuz I don't go visit.
