I just back from the Keys Sunday and I have about 20 lbs of sand I don't need. I someone is close by they have have it. I would hate for this live sand to die before it can bu used. I was just planning on letting it dry out and storing it. I live in Panama City, FL.

I have seen black mollies that have been acclimated to saltwater. But I don't know of other ones, at least ones for an aquariums.

I live in Panama City Fl and I have went out in the water and gotten sand for my tank and everything has been fine. It already has all the little creatures in it. Just ensure it's from a clean area and all should be fine. I've even gotten little hermit crabs the size of an eraser for the bay...

I use RO from one of the U-Fill-it stations, it's only .25 a gallon. Wal Mart has them in their store also. I have seen great improvement in the quality of my tank after switching from tap water.

One of mine is missing his front pinchers but it doesn't seem to affect im, the other one has already molted. I've only had them for a month. I caught them my self while SCUBA diving. Iwas diving a bridge span and they were all over the place. :)

Down here in FL I was talking to the lady that cuts my hair and she said the only thing she COULD have is fish. I was stationed in Montgomery before here and the was a restaurant there that had one there.

If your tank is not drilled there alot of plans for a DIY overflow box on the web. Or let me know and I have picture/plans for an easy one made out of PVC.
