How much you spend on your tank

I only wish I could have that little in my smallest reef! I could be living in a house twice the size most likely. (But that still wouldn't be as good as my little scaly friends, now would it!)

T5s for a 125, what would you choose?

I like the Nova Extreme setup. I have the 4x 36" setup on one of my tanks and never had a minutes trouble. Light bulbs are good for about a year. Other than that, I think the T5 will eventually replace the MH for shallow tank setups. JMO.

    Starter/cycle fish ???

More specificly, go to the local Kroger, get a nice size fresh shrimp (frozen food section) and drop in the tank. When your amonia level starts to spike, take the shrimp out. Be sure to allow the amonia level to rise enought for a complete cycle or you will have a false cycle and the first...

    Dying Long Tentacle Anemone?

P.S. You need to consider raising SG to about 1.024 or 1.025. This is most common in natural warmwater reefs.

    Dying Long Tentacle Anemone?

Most Likely just deflated. They must expel waste and they do so by deflating. Just keep a close eye on it. Some of mine deflate three times a week then go three weeks and never deflate.

    Which size tank to buy?
