Arrow crabs can and most often will kill small fish and harm some corals.

I would go to the LFS (a different one) and get the RO water or possibly their saltwater and start off. Tap water places you and your tank in the hands of the city and their water product. You need RO water.

I use a 58 gallon and could imagine adding seahorses to a tank less than 29G

I have now ordered a Tunze 235 /2 and it is supposed to work... I almost bought the cpr sr2 since it is made to reduce the bubbles in the sump but liked the Tunze better.

They are a species only type of fish. They can be put in with seahorses as they are similiar.

Do you have any scallops ? My Scallop makes a loud clicking sound each night when the light go off.

Does anyone know of a good protein skimmer that will not put tiny bubbles back into the tank as this will cause problems with seahorses? I am trying to find one for my seahorse tank?

Seahorses arent boring. They do a lot more that coral... lol...

I feed my seahorses mysys and brine and some of them are eating a generic frozen canivorous food pack.. I have to take a food pump and actually put it close to them. I have one huge black brazilian that actually knocked my dragon Gob out of the way to eat.. I have removed all fish(tangs)...

I dont use a skimmer, I will probably start again... I dont like them at all... Big pain, but much less of a pain than a 15% changeout every 2 weeks to control the nitrates...

I can tell you why its a pain in the ass. The cup on the top is so small and its hard to regulate the flow to avoid wate into the cup... Its a 2 a day empty as opposed to a 1 a day or 1 every 2 days... Thats my opinion
