I remember reading somewhere (but I cant remember where) that it was a good idea to keep an aquarium level. It suggested putting cardboard under the stand so it can kind of adjust itself to be flat. Since I cant remember where I read this to look it up does anyone have any opinions on this...

Im trying to decide on a light system to upgrade too. I understand that the T5 bulbs are 'new and fancy' and thus cost a lot. But aside from being new whats so 'fancy' about them? The whole light discussion goes way over my head, anyone know of a dumbed down explanation they could link?

Iv had this leather coral in my tank for a few months now and ever since I put it in my clown has been living in it instead of the anenome. Thats not really a problem except recently the base has started turning green (looks like algae?) and it has started wilting, iv heard of large clowns...

Well, Its 1:30 am, i was checking my tank before going to bed (going out of town in 5 hours) and i noticed my filter is leaking, managed to get a crack in it somehow ...... i got this rock of 'assorted polyps and shrooms' then realized i have no idea what they are =O you can see the corner of one of the mushrooms and the button polyps.

I need to pick up a calcium test kit (i procrastinated getting one till it slipped my mind) and im wonder about brands. are there any specific brands for the test kits that anyone has found to be more reliable than another given brand? all my other test kits atm are marineland instant ocean ones.

my anemone has slowly crept to the back of my tank over the past few days, id really like to get him back into the front where i can see it. i remember reading a few things about coaxing them into moving by pointing a powerhead at them, is that a good way to do it or is there another way?

I got this from my LFS it was listed as a "phantom gobby" unless i have horrible memory and it was a phantom blenny maybe? i havnt been able to find any info on anything by that name though, after flipping through a few books i thinkit looks like a bicolor blenny maybe?. better detailed one...
