I don't want to mislead anyone: The 'rtn' here appears to be an isolated incident. Everything else seems fine...so far. But the disappearance of the Majanoes is a new one on me. And apparently, it's new to most others too.

This series was taken with the digital equivalent of a 900mm lens. The final image is totality; the legendary Blood Moon, taken at a much slower shutter speed.

Over the years my shoal of Bartletts and Bicolor Anthias have dwindled from 11 and 6 to 6 and 0. The remaining 6 Barletts are pretty large and 'tank-wise'. Therefore, I've been advised that adding new and (no doubt) smaller Bartletts to the shoal would cause most them to be killed. True? How...
