i've had this alveopora for 6 months now, and its been doing fine until 1 day i dont know what happened and my heater died, and i was out of town at camp so the nwhen i came back i immediately bought a new one. but someone grew on my alveopora on 1 half of the ball, its like a black algae thing...

first of all no the awesome neon color is not from my actinic i can also see it under 10k halides which is what my halides are, turned on alone. second it just split yay! any ideas on how to take care of it ? should i just spot feed it once a week

well my pump intakes are covered with sponges my heater is in a sump and my overflow is as tthe very top of the tank with screening aroudn it. i was only planning on getting a lettuce anywyaas but i wanted to see if any o ther nudis were keepable
