Not to sound like the Tang Police, but..., if you are still in hopefully mode for the bigger tank, I would suggest skipping the Tangs. Buy them when you Do have the swimming space set. But the school of Chromis will be a fun addition!

I think it depends on the size and amount of fish you want in that community. I ran a 125 with 2 Octopus HOB 300 skimmers and had no water issues. But I kept smaller fish and only one Tang. So if it's not a reef you're after, I say yes.

Look up information on "seeding" live rock. Depending on the amount of dead critters inside, the time it takes to cure will vary.

Find a link on the 2 litre bottle fish trap. I made one in five minutes and had my DAMsel out the next day. The trap looks silly, but if you have the room to drop it in, it works.

How long has your tank been up? With the size tank you have you can starve it out over time with weekly 25% volume water changes, careful feeding and shortened light periods. It's just another algae battle to overcome.

I didn't like the Aqua C, I used one for about six months. After that, I bought an Octopus HB300. It used two pumps and creates a lot of action. Just my experience, but when I had to use Hang Ons, it worked great, and not too expensive either.
