Help with Ro system output ratio

On my Aquasafe it's rougly 3:1 I checked that by using two one gallon buckets. When the wastewater bucket was full, the ro bucket was aproximately 1/3rd full (give or take a bit).

    Quick moving question

I added my fish back into my tank after the move once I got the tank water to half filled. So far all my fish are still alive after moving 15 days ago. A couple hermits and snails didnt make it though.

    Hair algea id?

Emerald crabs seem to be hit and miss to me. The one that I had about 2 months ago would only clip really short algae off of my liverock, he left alone any macro algae that was inadvertently growing on my liverock. My scarlet crabs dont bother with my macro algae (seems like some sort of...

    tank pics

Im a fan of stacking liverock at the back glass, but for some reason it just doesnt look right to my eyes with your tank. I would probably create lower hills of liverock and try to make it so that there are little caves that the fish can swim around in. Sometimes liverock just looks good just...

Everyone post a picture of your tank here please

Heres my new 20 long. Everything in it but the black sand, the xenias and the green star polyps came from my old 20 High tank that now serves as this tanks sump.

    Hair algea id?

That looks more branching than the hair algae I've seen in the past, does it seem to have a central stalk and then branches out in hairs? All the hair algae I've seen so far has been individual strands like hair attached to the rocks and or glass etc. I could be wrong though, but I am curious.

Mine did the same thing there life in my tank (they are dead now, but not because of this behavior but rather from moving them 145 miles to my new house - but a couple of them that didnt totally disintigrate are regenerating). Anyway mine did this every now and then, I've heard when they raise...

    skimmer help

The seaclones pump is in the tank, so there shouldnt be any noise heard from that. If anything it may vibrate which can be fixed by making sure the suction cups are securing the motor to the tank wall. The only other noise really that the seaclone puts out is the water going back into the tank...

Squidd Help ME with ma SEACLONE!!!

I did this to my seaclone myself and as you experienced I couldnt get my inner tube to come out either. I had just been given a birthday gift of a cordless rechargable dremel with an assortment of bits ($85.00) and used that with a cutting wheel to cut the tube. The small bubbles usually only...

    live vrs. artificial

I assumed you would be putting in livesand and liverock to begin with. Certainly you can do a tank with no liverock or livesand, but then you have to provide the biological filtration through mechanical means. I believe that liverock is better in that it will provide all the biological...
